Playing softball in St. George, UT that weekend. I might take the Z as there are some nice roads to drive up there!

Went to the shop to inspect the parts that were ordered.
All accounted for. 11 pcs for the front end conversion and two side skirts. No rear bumper yet :shakes head: Common Fontana Nissan, I know you're at the mercy of Nissan but WTH. Rear bumper off, panels off, tail lights off. Rear spats off. See the Fujimura diffuser --- still in good shape. Interested? I worked on the front bumper this AM. Picked up a mesh grill and fabbed up the grills in place of the DRLs. Two layers of mesh from metrostyling.com
Bumper will be painted first and the mesh will be siliconed on the back side. Black sections will be painted Ford smoked quartz - TQ or Acura Graphite Luster NH782M-C. All red Nismo accents will be Pearl White QAB. Hoping to get the bumpers in by next week. Here are some pics. Back side. This is my first attempt. Driver's side. Tacky from the back. Here's the instructions given to my body shop. All parts arrived finally.
Flat black on the top lip of the bumper opening. The rest is dark charcoal grey instead of the traditional black. No red trim. |
Teaser from my painter
He is killing me softly. Shot from the paint booth. I just noticed the rear bumper sat behind the front bumper.
