Not a bad look, but the 18 might look too small.

question for you....which halo's did you go with? and do they throw off a lot of heat?

DatsunFTW 11-01-2013 08:31 AM

I used angel eyez that you can get at advanced auto parts, or any parts store, for 25 bucks. As far as I know, there have been no problems with heat

What do you think of these? 18" Stagger GTR Style Rims Gunmetal Wheels Nissan 350Z 370Z 300zx 240sx s13 S14 | eBay

Also, theres these 19 forged wheels "aftermarket" nismo but not stock nismo.

I think 19's are the perfect fit if you are going to buy and spend $$ on new wheels. 20s are pushin it and should probably be for a show car.

No im not a fan of those Nick. Theyre too flat.. :sly: I am still making some research but for now itll have to wait.

Test Pipes

Hey guys, got my Top Speed test pipes installed this morning. Overall the test pipes were very well done and fit just right. The exhaust note is just my taste and I really like the sound. For anyone in the South Florida area please go check out NÜR Performance LLC. Great shop and very awesome staff! The guys offered me lunch and the owner Dan is very cool. Check out their facebook and definitely visit them for some great products and very reliable installs.

Now to the videos ;) I will post better ones tomorrow as well as some GoPro footage of the exhaust.

I wouldn't go 18". 20" is fine so long as they have a dish/lip to them. They won't look as big.

I dont want to go 20s either theyre too big for my taste... 19s will be my go unless I find s really nice 20

Sounds nice with the TPs, any plans for an exhaust?

Thanks . As far as exhaust I will keep it the way it is just for now.. might go full Top speed cbe but eventually. I am taking each mod slowly to fully enjoy it. And I would never know if something better would pop up. For example I was going to buy evo r side blades the night before I bought the shine auto skirts off of luciano and I am far more impressed :)

So I have been looking to do a completely custom spoiler bracket for my GT wing. Looking around online I found a couple of pairs but there is one that raises the wing 7 inches and I am thinking that that might work well enough. It will make my wing actually functional and very stable. I can also make it adjustable to different angles if I wanted to.

What do you guys think? Would that be too high or should I keep looking for a shorter set? Its pretty cheap would only cost me around 30 bucks.

Hmmm??? Y u changing your original bracket??
My question is if u go with a different style of bracket, will u have to drill out new holes in the carbon??
Also will u have drill out new holes in your trunk/fill the other holes?

Yea I will have to cut off the original mounts and the drill one extra hole in the trunk. The bracket kit has a flat sheet of metal I could just screw onto the botton of the wing then attatch onto the bracket
