So far here's what I have done...

It's mostly exterior stuff as I have yet to really begin on the engine or anything. I'm trying to work from the outside in.

I only got the car in March and decided to start doing mods around May, so it's still definitely a work in progress.

My mods thus far:

-K&N CAI
-Avant garde m310s w/ Bridgestone Potenza S-04 PP tires (9x9.5 on 245/35/19 front and 9x11 on 285/30/19 rears)
-Plasti dipped handles
-Plasti dipped side markers (the Z and silver ring, not the whole thing)
-Plasti dipped emblems and badges
-Custom graphite and glossy black headlights w/ dual halos done by nut_n_much
-Swift lowering springs

Next mod: new calipers! (Prob for Christmas)

Doing a quick wash tomm since it's crazy dirty right now with all the rain we've gotten this week.

Just bought almost $500 worth of detailing stuff from chemicalguys.com, so it'll be getting a full detail next Sat. :)

Our cars look so good without the ugly chrome headlight housing.

How did you get nut n much to do your headlights? Does he do them on an order basis? I kinda want to do that to mine! Looks good!

LadyZ 09-08-2013 06:10 PM

He's local, so I just had to buy the parts and then paid him to do the install. He does an amazing job and is a wonderful chap!

I don't know if he does out of town orders, but message him and see! :)

The headlight restoration kit I used was super easy and they came out crystal clear. VERY satisfied! Here's what I used: Chemical Guys ACC_RES - GlassyLite Headlight Restoration & Protection System

Ignore the bug guts on the paint. It's getting detailed tomorrow. :)

Got bored so I blacked out my tail lights with plasti dip. I did one layer of black and 3-4 of glossy clear. I think they turned out pretty well. They'll eventually get done professionally, so this was a good temporary fix.

I did mine like this the first time. Was pretty happy till I had then done professional. Big difference. Especially for only $100.

Yeah, I am trying to find a place to do it here. I kind of want vinyl, but idk; I'm torn.

So i had to scold my dad because he wasn't detailing his corvette properly. He would only wash and wax it. He never clayed it or polished or sealed it.

So once he saw how awesome my z looked after the detail last weekend, he finally listened to me and did it correctly.

I had him wash it with dawn soap to remove the wax he had been using all week. Once it was nice and clean, I had him clay it with the chemical guys clay mitt system and the luber. After then, he saw a huge difference- like HUGE! Then he really started listening. After a proper polish, wax and seal with my chemical guys products, he's so insanely giddy over how nice it looks. Who needs a mirror when you have a shine like this...

Yeah, that's his trunk. Haha! W00t. :)

And mine after a quick wash this morning.

No filter.

Look at that shine! Got a new wash and a new quick detailer yesterday and they work amazingly. I couldn't be happier with how nice my paint looks.

I used the chemical guys citrus wash and glaze with a wool sponge, then their hybrid v07 quick detailer and sealant. Love it!

Now, I think I earned a beer.
