Unfortunately I've seen no rear bumper which is built for single exhaust. You may want to fibre glass the other side of the bumper to make it flash with the diffuser.

Yeah this is the main problem you're going to run into. I don't know if I've ever seen a 370 with a single exhaust setup.

Z1 did a single exit exhaust on a 370, I'm not 100% but I believe it was on a nismo kit as well. Did not look right at all imo.

You'll have to have the center exhaust cutouts (both) removed, and replaced with a functional diffuser to block the gap and have a single cut in it. That is what I think will look best.

However, no one can deny how good a single sounds on our car... :yum:

Single exhaust sounds way too cool on our cars. I couldn't be happier.

Did you do the Amuse kit idea I told you about? :icon17:

One of a kind!

I might be. There is ALOT of back pressure with this setup. I either need to do a dual y pipe or a 4" oval exhaust. We have ideas to make both work well..just need to make decisions. Might to an upgraded t4 housing+4"oval+custom made manifolds. Its a lot of work...wont be happening until winter.

Then just go run around crazy in it now, and break in the motor side of it. Enjoy it, then when you bed her for Winter, you can work on the piping.

Looking forward to seeing it in person.

You have my word. All of the crazy running around will be had.

I really want to make to one of the meets so everyone can see it at once. Hearing it is the better part though. :driving:

Its a Borg Warner s258 that I had machined out to an s259 with an upgraded billet wheel. Good for 650hp. Its a little undersized but it will make power to redline and it spools instantly. I was at 3k RPMs and bumped the throttle to like 30% and saw 5lbs in the blink of an eye.

ahh ok.. not to bad man.. I went with a PT6266 a little larger.. spools a little slower... but I like that I can drive like it's stock if I want..

and I had some ideas for your rear exhaust if you ever wanna talk chop

I know everyone seems to be using them with great success. I just wanted something different. We built it to be a response machine. I know Boost performance was in here crapping on my build and saying that the PT makes full boost by like 3750rpms or something but were aiming to make full boost and torque by or before 3500. Its all preference. Not like I'm using a single gt28.Lol

And yes I'm always down. Were going to sketch and CAD some stuff next week probably.

im not crapping on your build at bro! I think what you guys did is great!
and BP.. meh, my kit came first so naturally it's better :bowrofl:

i was actually looking at using a BW Turbo for the next step... I think it was MFI.. I would have to go back an look into my notes and convos about it.. but shooting for a strong, smooth curve..

and I sadly don't have CAD.. I would probably not be screwed out of all my ideas if I had CAD. lol but I do a pretty mean PShop lol

No I know you aren't dude! Thanks.
Yeah I mean I respect BP's kit but I don't like how he came in talking...my kit this my kit that, I do this for my customers and not that. Like is this a for sale ad sir? And regardless Im pretty sure he has a bit more time into this sort of work than 2 20 year old kid so whatevs:bowrofl:

If I had the money this build would've been a mid mount EFR 6258 Twin turbo. Luckily AAM is building a kit with those turbos so I will still get to basically see our theories on those turbos come to light.lol But yeah it would've taken like 8k to fully develop everything...This build after selling my boltons cost $2500 basically.

Patrick(boosted_MX5) uses solidworks for all of his designs. Extremely useful for a couple of homebrew builders.

I know dude. The modded car game is huge over here. We do a meet every weekend with 100+ cars. GTRs, lambos, vipers, eclipse's, 370z, big muscle cars. Hell even had a GT40 show up haha. However the Z is the least common so finding other modders like us is kinda hard to come by still. Most folks would just rather pay a shop to do it.
