It was actually that car that made me decide I like 2 seaters best. Mostly because it is harder for monsters to hide in your back seats when you don't have any back seats. :icon17:

Torque is nice, but Shelby is the look for me, and boss 302 the super fun one. But a gt is plain i can barely tell from a v6.Eh would rather have your s2000 hard top with an engine swap.!

As someone who has an Invidia, seeing someone on their second Z consider one makes me feel like this..

All good fun haha. This is my Dads ride. Calling it clean doesn't quite have the oomph behind it to really explain how immaculate it is. Cleaning it is his Sunday routine. Man was it a hoot to have the rear break loose in 3rd all the way through redline. Damn car ran like a dog beat by a newspaper.

I actually wished I had gotten another Z instead of the 5.0, but if I had done that, I wouldn't have traded my second Z in for a Frontier like I did the Mustang, and I really love the Frontier with its VQ40 too, and a truck is just so much more useful. However, next gen Z, I'm guessing I'm there!

Walmart has a sale on Mobil 1 0w40... 5quart jugs for $24.97. That's $4.99/qt. Notbad.jpg. I picked up all the jugs they had (3) and the last remaining solo quart. We still have some leftovers from Dana's old CLK, so I should have the next few changes covered. :tup:

It's just the normal price for any 5 qt bottle of Mobil 1, so it could just be a regular thing now. They just never had the 0w40 in 5 qt bottles before, just individual 1 qt bottles.

Well that's awesome then if it's their regular price going forward. Hard to beat a top quality oil (the 0w40, not the rest of the Mobil) for $5/qt.

I've always picked up my Mobil 1 at Walmart. The 5W-30 has been $25 for 5 qts for several years now, and I just noticed the 5qt 0W-40 last time I was there. Great price!

WTF, since this is an oil thread now. Why the 0w40 weight and not 5w30?

The German stuff (0w40) gets delicious UOAs in the VQs. Figured I'd give it a shot. German Castrol also does really well.

Crap, I just changed my oil (M1 5w30) last Friday.

For Mobil 1, the 0w40 is the only one that is fully synthetic.

I've sworn off Mobil 1 since my Subaru started acting funny with it in the system. :facepalm:

BTW Steve now that you have Deja Blue back, do you want the butt plug start button back, or did you pull the trigger on a new one? I mean, this one is slightly used but I'm sure I could pull it out and send it back to you...:yum:

I still contend that the 5.0 is the faster car all around, but I had my fun with that car so no point in getting a S197 again. Z34 on the other hand... my 2009 was nothing short of a disappointment, so I wanted to come back and "do it right" since it seemed like Nissan fixed everything they needed to fix to make it a good DD.

Short answer on the Z35 is... I like the Z34 enough not to wait around for ~2 years until the Z35 launch (and who knows what it will turn out like.) I was NOT going to daily drive my S2000 any longer than I had to!

Plus, who knows, if I waited for the Z35 to come out I probably would have just bought the C7.

In the end this is what works, and I'm happy with it.

I am kind of bummed about riding around on these RE050As... They are OK, but once you've run PSS you never want to run anything else. I just don't feel like spending $1600+ on tires when these have lots of life left in them, so I guess I'll just :dealwithit: for now.

Can't wait to have PSS on this thing, though.
