Billet370 Carbon Fiber 370z

Below are a few pictures of the car. Carbonfiberelement.com full carbon fiber interior. Exterior wise, I need to finish up the carbon fiber doors, hatch and quarter panels hopefully within the next few months. In addition, I will have the shell, engine bay and door jams painted black.

Engine mods are the next project but unfortunately I cant begin that until the exterior is complete. But hoping I can work on engine the same time when I paint the engine bay since the engine will be pulled out.

Anyways, hope you guys enjoy :tiphat:

btw: My previous gallery has disappeared with all my original mods but it all leads up to how the car looks today :)

I was hoping I could get seibon not to CUT the door handle area when I place my order on the doors. Would love to have door poppers and have the doors shaved. We shall see....

This may be stupid.. but why leave the parts red? Why not carbon the whole car? Or is it a gradual process?

Maybe I am missing something..

It's a gradual process. He's working on Doors and the hatch and rear fenders over this winter. Also working on Performance mods. Since right now he's somewhat show, and no go. :stirthepot:

Not to mention the rears are not as simple as buying a replacement part.

I luckily found a solution for the quarter panels so I just need to get them along with door and hatch. But then I have to remove all the carbon fiber parts and paint car black since no longer need it to be red :(. And trying to get the engine to work done at the same time. Would rather pay to pull the engine out once rather then 2 times.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Except you Chris lol. Ill see what you say when it puts 500 at the wheels :p

Coon-azz 01-03-2013 04:46 PM

Love it! great work and I'm sure that can't be expensive.

I'm not hatting, but I have to ask...
Is this driven or just a trailer queen? I'm just asking cause I know my front bumpers on cars get eaten up after about 30,000 + miles. How do you deal with stuff like that from driving?

Really like the CF look though. Wounder if you can do it in CF Red? That would be cool too!

Carbon_z 01-07-2013 11:00 AM

I drive her just not everyday... She is driven on weekends and etc. I just have to be extra careful. MY hummer H2 is my daily driver.

Reaper42 01-07-2013 11:17 AM

Cant wait to see this complete

EventHorizoN 01-07-2013 05:14 PM

Why track a car that has NO weight reduction? Same reason... Because I said so lol..

I would track it just havent yet. I have taken it through the mountains and the tail of the dragon :) and its never been trailered anywhere. I drive it :)

True enthusiast would fix it on the spot

I debated heavily on the wheels but a part of me said even with the outside planning on being carbon fiber, carbon fiber wheels would make the car have "TOO MUCH carbon fiber" :ugh2: yea i know I have alot already but i love those bronze anodized wheels so freaking much. It was love at first sight and they truly flow great with the car. IMO.

Sweet man! Trust me as soon as I can afford a 350 or a 370Z especially, I will get one. At 18 though it's kinda hard. Anyways I have a diehard love for Z's. Went to the Gwinnett Meet last night over near the mall of georgia and there was a big group of Zs (Z32s, 350s, and 370s). It was heaven! It would feel so badass to roll with them! I roll with my other spec-v sentra guys tho :)
But I would love to hang out and cruise with some Z's!

Carbon_z 01-13-2013 09:02 AM

That was our group. We had 20 member show up. :). Sorry I wasn't there.

Aw man! Do you know the next time you're gonna go? I don't go to the gwinnett meet every week as it's 49 miles from my house one way. But the next time the Z group gets together I'll be sure to go and be on the lookout for your car! :icon17:

Nice! Yeah I totally understand that one. Looks great!

EmpireDude 02-06-2013 02:25 PM

Any idea how much weight all the cf has saved overall? Also, notice a lot of a difference after the weight reduction as far as handling, acceleration and braking? Very cool car!!

Carbon_z 02-06-2013 02:46 PM

haven't noticed much considering the suspension and wheels where all added on the car at the same time. To be honest, the stock stuff is pretty light "made of aluminum" but the carbon fiber parts are lighter.

Carbon_z 02-08-2013 11:48 AM

IGNORE THE BRAKE ROTORS LOL...I was told they wouldnt rust and I was lied too. Upgrading brake system shortly ;)
