It's filled with a bunch of show crap like huge speakers, screens, oversized wheels and reupholstered interior. Dude won't even drive it much. Such a shame.

You forgot to mention that G is built with a 4.2 stroker and a fully built transmission stage 4 from GTM. Solid blueprint if you ask me. Fully built top to bottom.

That show crap still can spank some a** with all that bunch of crap in the car. HAHA
Oversized wheels really? They are 20" HRE. In the summer I will have a new set of wheels for daily driving and the HRE will be for show only.

Dude won't even drive it much. The car is not a trailer queen. It will be driven to car show all over the east coast. Once we clear bra the car. Also I will show local with our car club Ohio G Club '"OGC" and anywhere Tuningwerks Competition "TWC" need me to show. ;)

Such a shame not really. If you ever own or have a show car. You know how much hard work keeping the car perfect and clean and being different. It's all worth being one of a kind.

No need to get defensive. As you said the car is a show car. Mine looks stock, all the way down to the radio. And when is it going to be done? I want to know what that thing can do!

Anyways, here is a question. When I mash the gas, I can smell rubber from the belt. I see black marks on my tensioner pulley. I also notice the RPM will hang a bit, usually around 6k-6.5k rpm, then take off. It's noticable in 2nd, not so much in 3rd. I don't see the belt getting shredded or a bent pulley like before, but it concerns me. It still runs super strong, more so than before the pulley gave. This car is really loving he cold weather. I felt my car get squirly n 4th the other day, I was a bit surprised. I need some better tires...

I was also able to see Infamous's new ride! He has a BP turbo kit on a stock tune. Car and kit looks super clean! It was awesome hearing the turbo do it's work. He was able to hang with me, I imagine that would be some tough competition with a tune. I'm hoping I can ride shotgun one day :) Lastly, I had to get a bit juvanile and get my Wife to take a video of me playing in a tunnel. Nothing too much, but ooooohhhhhh sooooo worth it!

Edit: Camera angle still being fixed

Nice, you got two love tunnels. I wonder what it would sound like if we went 3 wide on boost through there!!!!

Very nice build man! I have the single sc kit on my Z and I noticed you said something about wanting an OS Giken clutch... Did you stick with the JWT or what? I have the OSG and can vouch its awesome!

It wouldn't sound... You'd go deaf... Lol

My car is the loud one. I thought it was more in the middle. Infamous said my car is loud and my family knows when I arrive. Infamous's car had a CNT exhaust and it was way quiet. That has big resonators, mufflers, and hemholtz resonators. With five total Fi'd objects spinning in such a small area, we just might create a black hole

Oh well, what a nice read, never ever seen any build thread so well organised! Still a lot more to go through.

I've also ordered the same kit from GTM about 4 weeks ago, looking forward to getting it delivered so I can crack on with the fitting. Man, I can't wait!

Thanks for the comments  I try to keep most of the meat on the first page. I'm glad to see another taking the dive for the kit! The price is a hard pill to swallow looking at everything there is on the market, but this is the best there is for anyone going SC'd. This is also the only option for LTH's. I'll be looking forward to your build :yum:

W00T!!! I love tax season. Uncle Sam is paying me back $12,600 in taxes. Now can give poor Phunk the money I owe him lol. He's been beyond patient with me. I'm also due for tires, my wear markers came quick after boost. Like most, my rears are worn more than my fronts.

It also looks like I'll be in PHX for about a year. This means I need to find a cheap and reliable $hit box that sips gas to drive on the daily.

Edit: Also updated my hyperlinks at the top of my journal to include initial and final reviews of my GTM TSC kit. I waited a while before I made my final review so it would encompass any troubles I might have come across with it... which I did, and how GTM handled it... which they did.

Wife told me I was rubbing off on her. She took my car out and got to the McCarren airport tunnel. She rolled the windows down and mashed it, smiled, and laughed at herself. Even she can't resist the urge lol.

Pic below: My garage has that too... :driving:

Glad you both are enjoying this beast! Haha I say I'm marking my territory when I leave those marks.

Well, the dyno confirmed my thoughts. This car is not even close to making 550whp. On a Dynojet, it didn't make over 350whp. I'm going to do some light throttle logging in the morning. It just didn't seem like it did when I picked it up. Then looking at other peoples vids making "less" power than mine really got me thinking. I was trying to get the AF showing, but it's late. I just want to go to sleep.

That's odd it would lose so much power like that. Hope you get it figured out quickly.
