What's up with these dyno graph one show's 447whp at 5 psi and the other one has
547whp at 7.5 PSI.

That has to be off.

That is weird

Japanjay 11-09-2012 12:25 AM

I think the first vs the second is with more fine tuning and bumping the boost up 2.5psi.

It's impossible to gain that much power from just 2.5 psi and fine tuning. There are a million GTM TT kit's and dyno's out there on this forum not a single car is making 550whp on just 7 pounds of boost.

Marti 11-09-2012 11:02 AM

the first one was just getting started. The second graph is after it was actually tuned.

Zuppy51 11-09-2012 12:15 PM

Did any of the internals of this motor get modified?

Is the compression still stock?

Mr.Squeeze 11-09-2012 01:01 PM

What kind of dyno and what stage GTM turbo kit ?

I think i would make 750whp on that dyno

S&R's Dyno is seriously one of the highest reading dynos in the land. I forgot what kind it is, I know its not a Mustang or Dyno Jet. Regardless, it's still a stout build!

They have a land and sea dyno. I left there months ago but before i left, the builds that were done were backed up at a competitors dynojet so i can't imagine it's far off.

The 370z single turbo also went to a competitor to dyno and the numbers were pretty damn close. It does read a bit different but it's withing low single digit % points.

What was your numbers ? Did you make 550whp on just 7 pounds of boost ?

Nut_N_Much 11-10-2012 06:27 PM

Nice

Congrats on getting the kit on... It looks :happydance: awesome, nice and clean. A good tuner in
Tampa is Martin a Z Fever. He did 15 pulls to get KellyFields tune fixed. It would be interesting to see what they would show after S&R or Vortex "O" I'm sorry VSR's tune is.

I made 550 on 10psi with stock NISMO exhaust

G35_FTMFW 11-14-2012 02:18 AM

Fixed numbers?

How easy is it to edit those numbers on a dyno sheet?

it's not, nor do we have any interest in doing that. We build cars. We're showing an example of our craftsmanship and attention to detail. The end numbers are a result of the tune and they were done by a 3rd party, not us.

Marti 03-14-2013 01:49 PM

Lets build another one, guys! Who is ready for some boost?

Marti 03-21-2013 09:19 AM

HAPPY THURSDAY, EVERYONE! Please let me know how we can help you!
