I ll post pics for you, basically I just sawed were the tips weld on to the exhaust but I'll show you why to give you a better understanding

where the exhaust lines up with the opening of the bumper it wouldnt go on unless i cut the tips, the tips were to big the bumper would not mount properly, more than likely you ll run into this as well with a aftermarket exhaust

with the Zele Bumper there are only two on the shelf exhausts available: ZELE Quad or GTM Quad... Both are great quality exhausts!

If ya don't mind me asking which setup did you go with?

From what I understand there is only one Zele exhaust left, and no more to be made. One company has it, and will only sell to someone who has purchased an authentic kit. I know because they offered it to me.

I went with GTM's Quad. It sounds mean!!! but then again I am running almost a whole nother liter in my motor...

The GTM is going to have a much deeper tone due to its piping diameter.

since i cut my tips off it has a drone at 1-2 rpms it drives me insane its alot better at higher rpms but i ll get quad tips for now then probably get the whole gtm exhaust later

looks good. I'm a big fan of the Zele kit. Not a huge fan of replicas, but the real deal is just so damn expensive, and the genuine Zele rear bumper doesn't fit stock exhaust.

When I get quads ill post ton of exhaust pics just for you :bowrofl:

Side note, I have found a place that sells aluminum mesh that is black, looks promising.

Hopefully my kit should be shipping to me on Monday so I can start working on my exhaust. I've been thinking about using OEM GTR rear tips, just not sure how large the openings on the ZELE rear are in relation to the GTR tips.

Use the Agency Power GTR tips or Ask ARK for their STI GR Tips... Both are big and look really good!

AP tips are 4" in diameter.
ARK are 3.5" in diameter.

Also thinking about picking up a set of SSR's SP3 rims black with chrome stepped lip but I'm still deciding any suggestions for what would look good on my car?

I stayed with the 5" tips. haha doing some tweak to the rear.. hopefully it turns out good.

Great mod! Hope your quad tips fit perfectly when it arrives. I could see why you had to cut off your Borla tips. Hope the manufacturer/LCR has a fix for the noticeable alignment issue where the cutouts are sitting up higher than the exhaust tips.

I really dig this body kit especially when I heard the lip was also available and they were releasing a dual exhaust version but unless there is reassurance from them that the alignment is addressed, I'm holding out on this mod. I sent them a pm about this and expecting a response. Hope it's good news.
