Finally no more light, no more noisy trunk. Etc
Will post picks later |
So essentially it has been more a lil more than a year and almost a year.
On Dec. 24 2012 the car arrived to my house but it had a broken windshield and was fixed but took some weeks for the glass delivery... Now, it is almost a year since i start to drive it and last night going to get some food with my gf inside my car outside my house on reverse gear the turtie ended on the bumper of that retard, which was the fat lady driving in that moment. Only 2 meters and the impact was done ~The other nissan had no lights on at all. I did look before going backwards but out of no where this retard came out After the impact was done and the sound was triggered because of it, my Z didn't even moved an inch, strong as a bull!. At first i thought i did hit the border of the park but when i looked at the central mirror there was this ugly piece of shi*** rusty car The guy that was in the back seat with his son, step out of the car and say "why i did go fast on reverse? You didn't see US?" Was 2 f*** meters and your trash can HAD NO DAMN LIGHTS! So he park a phew meters from me, he came and said "lets arrange this" and i was WTF. FU!...I said no! let the ensurance come and we will see. 7 minutes passed after i made the call and the ensurance came. the ensurance guy said that i got 2 options 1. Say that the other car had the fault 2. Say that i had the fault I called my brother and told him about the 2 options and he said to take number 2 like the ensurance guy told me too. I asked to the ensurance what to do and he said to pick number 2 too and i was WTF why?? The answer is simple. If i choose number 1 we had to go on a 1 hour minutes trip for blood exam and after that to the police department to do the report and all this process will take like 3 hours or 4/5 On the other hand picking number 2 made things easier in the common sense of saving those hours The thing is if choosing 1 or 2 i will be paying the same amount of $$$ of off my ensurance prime The funny thing is that when the ensurance guy asked for papers that other nissan had old plate, which is obligatory to use new plate, the card of the car was under other person which at the time of the crash. So...to fix that bended bumper they must got to the notary and pass the car from the actual owner to them after that, do the paper work for the new plates and pass a technical revision of the car. New plates take like 3 or 4 weeks to get them If this idiot wants to get pay he must do what i wrote and to fix that hideous rusty car/bumper will be cheaper ($20 - $30) that getting all the process for the new plates ($150). I bet the wont do ****. It is just fiber for me. Simple to fix. So im taking the turtie to my friend shop and pay ($150) to the ensurance. Done. Car will be back in like 4 days or so. Thats it. The car looks great even with that part on the *** lol. Don't think that im happy or some. I hate the option i took (2) because i had to say that i had all the fault to skip things and save time. The old car had no nothing. Starting from the property owners card of the car until ensurance. Look at his bended piece of bumper http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...90/12/oj9x.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...0/842/4r9p.jpg The headlights were the same as this. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...90/32/3e78.jpg I thought i did hit this first http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...90/42/oc7w.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...0/850/pcue.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/843/ubrc.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/102...0/827/tlbp.jpg |
Lo siento mucho en ver que paso Oscar :(
Now by the looks of it? nothing major Thank God. Your choice maybe just to get fixed on your own either thru insurance or out of pocket whatever going to be cheaper. A pretty unfortunate situation here But glad You & gf are Okay :) |
Welcome back to the forums buddy! Any new plans for the turtle? ;)

So a recently hit the 3k. Believe or not i use it as a daily drive but also use the lil suzuki
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/691/5bv6.jpg It was ready past saturday http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/268/a9pj.jpg And did some test. Max i got was 160 MPH. This pic was took by my sis shame not the 160 http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...0/534/kusu.jpg Right now i feel it needs more power but dropping 38k for 650 hp is to much money that i can spend for anything else |
From the looks, it looks like the damage was not that bad and good choice in the number 2. i had to do the same thing on my Lexus only 48 days into owning it, but mine was due to a semi trailer blowing a tire, it flying back at 60MPH on the highway, hitting the front of my car and destroying the Lip, Left side bumper and fog lights. SMH. My only question is at this point, on one of those pics? You have just over or slightly under 3/4 tank and your range says 122 MILES O_o WTF??!?1?!?
I have usually 3 dots above a 1/4 tank or 2 for that matter and have 122 left. When i'm up at 3/4 tank, i have usually 250-300 miles left on the tank...is your car drinking Methanol or Jet fuel for EPA MPG? LOL! :) Nice car btw, love the build.

That is the reason why it show 122. Don't get wrong the ecu is 100% accurate as i want to think it is but thats not the one who drives and shifts. 7 o 15mpg it will be the result of how i use it. Remember that the ecu will change stats but tank capacity will stay as it comes from factory  |

+1 on the boosted performance twin scroll single turbo kit. Would have gone the same route if I didn't already have boost plans. :stirthepot:

:roflpuke2: we get similar gas mileage
|
Could it be the gas is not "great" and it burns really quick??
BTW great looking car!! |
I left the car this week. 1 week to get some things fixed.
1. Because race car the rear suspensión was noisy. Every time i passed a speed bumper (of course slowly) it sounded like a old rubber. They took out the suspension and the right side is the problem. It seems that the hypermax was very dirty and every time the spring pushes down it sounded weird. This is the 2nd time that happens. The last time they cleaned up the suspension, etc and the sound was gone but they said it will showed up again because the suspension i got is rigid (race thingy) 2. The right intake was lose and every time (random/depends how the road was) a clicking sound showed up. The bad things is that the stillen intake get lose in time to time and the right one got wear marks. For this they are putting double sided tape to "cover the noise". Now i understand why the top secret form is what they sell and obviously the price is x4 (of course titanium) 3. They re did the job paint because there was a flaw. 4. Im thinking of Ecutek or Uprev because sometimes i feel there is a lack of power on some situations and sometimes i say. WOW that was rude. My friend says GT-R Swap and i say bitch slap 5. Took off my tow hook to be measured for the plate holder 6. Just bought Batman Arkham Origins: Nerdy edition :excited: So, yep. That is how it goes so far. Nothing exciting, just resolving some minor issues. Modding stock parts with race parts will make the car so...(complete the black if you want) http://s14.postimg.org/5tygv0t4h/194...00247434_n.jpg http://s28.postimg.org/yedb14qx9/178...65961178_o.jpg 2 Things i noted comparing the 350z i had and the 370z: 1. Both got the same intake issue noisy when it sets lose. Like a clicking sound 2. Both suffer from the right side every time i pass a speed bumper. SCRATCH! But why?? |
