Twinturbonet's Journal

What's up the370z, I decided to start my journal today here at work. Lol. I bought my 2011 Nismo 370z (#24) on 03/17/2012 with 5100 miles on it at Meadowlands Nissan in NJ. I searched for it online and when I found it, I booked a one-way ticket and flew from Miami to NJ. After purchasing the ride, I drove from NJ to DC and celebrated St. Patty's there. I wanted to put the Z on a train they have from VA to FL, but I wasn't gonna make it in time :(. Anyway, long story short, I drove from DC to Miami, FL in one day!

17 hrs and 1 speeding ticket later, (LOL) I show up with this beauty.

Nice drive & not bad for only getting one ticket in that length of time. I like your Nismo & good choice by the way.

Thanks CGMG.

All I have to say is... wow, what a bit*h. I don't feel like typing this whole story, but let's just say it involved H&R suspension, a stripped nut on the driver side along with the same nut on the passenger side that broke three of my ratchets, two trips to Speed Shop (Thanks again Yohan - big rep), Friday night (50% done) and Saturday from 9am - 10pm, & a sh*t load of sweat and beer + me and 2 of my boys.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with the drop.

Looks awesome man! Today started on mine, got the struts out, then realized i didn't rent the right spring compressor! Oh well! Seeing yours makes me itch to put mine on.

twinturbonet 05-06-2012 09:15 PM

Do it! :)

MacLean 05-06-2012 11:08 PM

twinturbonet, the drop is sweet looking. Sorry to hear about the broken three ratchets, sweat & the effen time consumed in doing all this. In the end it seems to be well worth it & once again she is HOT LOOKING.

I know this is hella noobish but do you use this car as a daily driver? I see people with awesome looking drops like that and i just wonder how much they scrape the bottom front end driving around everyday! But that looks so raw man, good stuff

Yea, she is my DD. However, I live pretty much across the street from my job. So far, I haven't scraped anything. Your front bumper can't clear the concrete parking bumper that's for sure. I'm so used to parking reverse or not even getting close to that ****.

Got the Z aligned by the best alignment shop in South Florida (The Alignment Factory - Ken Heiden) and dipped the wheels today.
