Thanks man. The lip clears just fine even lowered on swift springs.. I have had 0 issues with it so far.

Lets try this again. Fender roll tomorrow. Coils, alignment, exhaust leak, emissions (****!), and plate renewal wednesday. Hopefully the car will be ready by our 1st club meet of the year next sunday..

When you roll your fenders, make sure tabs and rocks are removed from the crevice. I had a small rock that was caught between the lip that goes around the inside of the fender that was got pushed in and it left an imprint on mine :shakes head: Makes me sick when I look at it!

Damn, sorry to hear that.. but thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to check.

What's the emissions ish you're dealing with?

white370j 02-22-2013 09:26 PM

Just curious if the tune throws off the OBDII or not...

I've got test pipes on the car and I don't think it'll pass.

Josh, are you back at work yet? Would you be able to do the coils, alignment, exhaust leak and emissions the same day? I've got a guy at a shop close to my house Im taking it to that has done work for me before. But I don't think he has experience with coils..

If you can't find anyone let me know. I had coilovers on my VR-4. These cars should not be to bad to install.

Coils are very easy. The hardest part is getting them set at the height you want.

diddy535 02-23-2013 09:56 PM

You got plans for the swifts you're removing?
