Hey Jason! Love the look of your Z. I was wondering how you like the ShineAuto Amuse kit. I have been looking around and a lot of people say that out of the reps they have the best fitment. What are your thoughts on it?

Thanks dude. The body shop that installed the kit for me said they had no problem at all! I would definitely get this kit! But if you lower your car I would watch out for these side skirts...they sit really low. Im on coilovers and my shoes cant go under them lol..but overall Im happy with this kit. I actually bought this kit from Lloyd(Tower74) from Kansas city.

Haven't updated in awhile. Haven't done anything to the Z. Just got some tein springs for the supra. Also just got a 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 636. Been busy with that beast! Anyways here's some pictures today. Car washed!

I like ur supra. Wish I could afford one.
Anyways I like the hood. But I'm curious, does the hood have any purpose with the vents or just is it aesthetic reason only?

It vents some heat out, plus it looks cool. ;)

theDreamer 06-20-2014 03:31 PM

Kaien is correct, it helps extract heat from the engine bay both while idling or moving. Huge benefit when trying to keep only fresh air around the engine.

Thanks guys! It's been awhile since I did anything to the Z. Been busy. Just ordered the RJM pedals for the Z! Can't wait!

Jason! off topic a little bit but my brother has a fully build NA-T driveline for sale! forged GE bottom end, Hypermax intake manifold, AEM V1 with harness, 62mm turbo, marlin crawler built 5sp with a 3000$ clutch, driveshaft, TRD rear end and axles. full drop in swap if youre still looking to boost the supra. he was putting down 586 to the wheels on it.

KaienZ34 06-26-2014 12:00 PM

How many miles on everything?

Rid3_FaM0uS 06-26-2014 01:50 PM

no more than 3000. it was just finished being built at speed for sale in Alpharetta, GA the end of last year and my brother picked it up from a guy who had only put a couple hundred miles(drive home) on it and left it set in his garage. it had a 1jz dizzy on it that wasn't timed right so it wouldn't fire up without a booster pack. we brought the car home fixed the issue and had it starting up every turn. my brother did the 580whp tune on it at that point then adjusted the timing once again after the fact to smooth out a "stuttering" idle. I would personally have it tuned again to make sure AFRs are in check
