So what I do is as I pop the trunk I have my pinky on the trunk to push up at the same time...minor annoyance, no biggie

I think there is a mod in the DIY section about adding pennies or something to make the trunk pop stronger/more consistent.

Awesome good to know, I already have to do that with just the OEM. So adding it wouldn't make a difference.. I was worried that it would add even more weight to it.

Thanks for the info!

Theres a DIY here that shows you how to take out a weight behind the back lid plastic. That would probably lighten back up for you guys.

here's the link...

btw....LOVE the Duckbill. I'm keeping an eye out for one on my 40th!

Couple pics from the Z Society cruise we did this past Sunday

Outside of that nothing really new. Storage is soon upon us, so making me sad. So any chance I get, I am taking the Z...I usually put her away 3rd week of November...longer than most it seems

I am picking up my KellyFields hood struts on the weekend and the baby and wife will be out of town, so that means car time and board meetings (rippers ;) ) lol

You may have noticed no ING+1 lip...flew off...I took a chance and bought the $50 EZ-lip off Ebay which is essentially a nice strip of rubber that you can cut to size and has 3M tape...does the job...I'll think of a another lip over the winter.

thanks! I'm pumped about that! :) I just got my Stillen Gen 3 and am sending it off to my powdercoater to match the pipes to the car. Contemplating getting an aerojacket Type III too. Not sure I'll do anything with the wheels yet until I can do the coil overs and camber plates along with it. You and some of the other guys here with 40th's are REALLY showing me the possibilities! can't wait to do more! :happydance:

Ya thats a good idea, I forget his name but there was another member selling his Injen's that he powdercoated to match the 40th a week or two ago..I would have jumped on them but was too slow lol.

I dropped mine on the stock wheels for awhile. great thing is the 40th looks pretty good with the stock wheels, so if you can wait it out, might as well do it all at once and do it right

I saw those too. They were painted though and had some scratches. Probably from the intall or disassembly. I definitely want to powdercoat mine. They will hold up better to damage.

Love it

That's good to hear. I would've looked more closely into it if I'd know the fitment was so good. One thing I can't permit myself to do is drill into the sport wing.

Looking nice man, but I can't believe how close you come to scraping while getting in your garage. :(

Yup fitment is spot on, everything I've gotten from Carbon Signal has been amazing. I was happy I didn't have to drill also!

I know, I cringe everytime going into the garage...actualy now, I can get in ok, its getting out, seems I am scraping my lovely FI cans :(

Wife doesn't understand wanting to move over a garage haha

Ya, the front plate is a bit of a buzz kill. That motorized licence plate retractor thing is pretty cool though. Seen a member or two with it.

Thanks mang, I need to get myself a good camera so I don't rely on car meets for good pics lol.
