Yeah have someone that knows what they're doing (or learn yourself, but it can be a slow frustrating process) tune the torque map for the transmission via UpRev. That won't be enough, but it will help. Without some serious hardware upgrades, you will probably eventually destroy something or other in that 7AT though :)

Oh, ok thanks!

Anyone know the ball park for GTM goodies plus labor on the 7AT rebuild?

Anyone done it yet...? And not just the torque converter -- I mean the beefier clutch packs too.

I was quoted 7k for a fully built tranny with my core.
Parts alone 4k, this was with 500hp being the number I wanted.

^^^ All things considered, that's not bad for parts, labor, and installation -- still... ouch.

wow $2000 in labor im glad my buddy builds transmitions for a living lol So im gonna just going to be ordering the parts and having him put everything together. Whats your list of parts for that 7at that got you all the way up to $4000?

I know it is a good price but I do not think I can make myself put that much into it. At this point I would have to go a cheaper route on FI to upgrade this tranny, and I know I would not be happy in the end. If I do not get a new project car (BRZ or FR-S) then I will just buy another 370z (MT) to boost.
