It's a lot louder now with the intakes, especially at WOT. Will try to make a video of them soon, probably sometime this weekend.

Glokwork 09-27-2011 04:13 PM

The intakes at WOT between 3k-4k rpm sound so damn mean and awesome, but I haven't heard a peep out of my intakes since I put the exhaust on :icon17:

I can hear the difference even with my exhaust, but my exhaust isnt as loud as yours :icon17:

Getting my alignment done in a little bit so I will have updated pics of the drop probably sometime later this week.

Glokwork 09-27-2011 04:59 PM

Haha yes everyone says mine is really loud but I want it louder! I've heard great things about the berks and the swifts are great man you gonna love it. Little tighter overall but not a bad ride at all, the bumps are more harsh but that comes with the territory.

b1adesofcha0s 09-27-2011 05:30 PM

Yeah definitely love them. Scraped my car for the first time since getting dropped while pulling out of the driveway of the dealership :(

Gotta get sideways man. Yeah sometimes people get pissed when you block an entire entrance but it's not worth tearing up the whip

Never driven a lowered car before so im still learning and getting used to it. Good thing my front bumper is already ****** up :icon17:

Glokwork 09-27-2011 07:17 PM

It's all good man, it takes time. One thing I did when I lowered it was I took the front air guards off the under side of the front bumper. Before my drop I scraped going up my race ramps, after the drop and taking the air guards off I don't scrape  3 x10mm bolts on each one and cuts wayyyy down on the scraping!

My car never came with them installed :icon17:

Just scratched the passenger side skirt a bit.

Haha I want to see you get in/out of my driveway now that you are lowered... We know what happened last time when you backed out and forgot to angle. :rofl2:

In all seriousness though - I ended up having to buy some new curb ramps so mine could make it up the driveway. I left my front splitter and air guards on so I knew when to take it slow.

Yeah that would be fun to do :ugh2:

I never really have to deal with drive ways since I park in the lot at my apartment complex. The driveways that I do occasionally deal with are no where near as steep as yours. :icon17:

Yeah it was done around 9. Took like 2.5 hrs to do the alignment and resurface my brake rotors. Cost $50 for the alignment and $60 for the rotors. Definitely loving the new alignment with the zero toe setup, thanks for the recommendation Dan

Here's a teaser pic from right after the alignment, you can definitely see the drop now.
