I do feel a slight shimmy and the steering wheel needs to turned slightly to the right to make the car go straight. I'll drive it for a few weeks to let the coilovers settle and then come back for an alignment. Sound good? Thanks, Jon & Altered for everything! The experience has been amazing from the start to the finish.....but we aren't at the finish yet.....;) |

I've got a few questions - what advantage do you get with these Stillen pulleys. I don't quite understand what they are for - its not supercharged is it. What are the pulleys for, alternator, water pump?!?!?!?!
Also, these intakes - do they work in-sync with some sort of chip for better performance, or is it mostly looks that you get with them. Car looks unreal by the way - Black and blue, can't go wrong - great job buddy. |

Here's what it says from the Stillen website regarding the pulleys: STILLEN has long manufactured precision pulleys for our supercharger kits. We have used this expertise to produce a new line of high performance crank and accessory pulleys. Each pulley is machined from 6061 aerospace grade billet aluminum with a bold new design to maximize performance, strength and minimum weight. 304 stainless steel sleeves are used for main seal contact points for durability. Stock timing marks are maintained and keyways are precision broached. All pulleys are CNC turned, milled and balanced based on computer generated designs. Up to 80% lighter weight than stock steel and up to 10% lighter than other aftermarket pulleys, we’ve seen power gains of up to 10+ HP at the wheels. I believe the one I purchased (Lightweight Standard Crank Pulley) also assists with making the 7AT shift smoother. I also added the Gates belt, too. And no, no supercharger on mine......yet (;)) |
looks good man
