What it looks like is the mold that they used to create it wasn't designed to cover the entire area. Not sure if you can tell but the center area near the fog light is perfect but as you look either direction from the center it starts to slip a little bit. I sent the following photos and asked EVO-R about it but never heard back:

I'm not unhappy.....I love the look of it....I just wish it had fit a little better. And I'll admit, I'm not 100% sure if its a design flaw or if the place I went to have it installed did it incorrectly.

You just didn't spend enough money at the installer  haha

Yikes on the fitment...

man! that CF rear valence was on my "to do list". Now I'm not sure after seeing those pics.

I have a body shop who has seen this and "hopes" they can adjust the fit. They are making no promises but they did say they would try. Unfortunately I won't be able to drop the car off for this fix for a few more weeks but I will update with new photos if adjustments are made.

i wonder if evo-r's mold is going bad? tony, you got this pretty recently, no? they must've run quite a few off of the mold already, i would not be surprised if it started warping or something.

I purchased from one of the other users on this board....once it arrived it sat for about 3 to 4 weeks since I figured I'd go ahead and purchase the front CF parts, too. I've had a few people look at it....I've heard it could be the mold wasn't right and today I was told maybe the rear bumper can be worked on to force the piece to slip into the grooves. That one kinda worries me but we'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks.

Picked up the Z this morning from D&V Autobody.....they put clear bra over my front carbon fiber pieces, removed the swirls marks from my hood, did a nice full detailing, and installed the Cube mood lighting kit! Can't really show the lighting kit just yet, still too bright outside. Looking forward this evening, tho! Here are a few pictures....2nd photo shows the swirl free roof!

What were the downsides of doing a clearbra? Does it turn yellow over time or something?

Also, I can't remember, do you have your entire front end clearbra'd?? Cost??

No, I didn't do anything to the actual car itself as far as clear bra goes.....only got it put on the fangs and the little part where the license plate sits. I just want to try to keep the carbon fiber as nice as long as I can and hopefully by adding the clear bra it will help.

I haven't heard any downsides yet from anyone on the board. Over time, yes, I suppose it is possible it could discolor. Most places have a 5 year warranty. I could be wrong about that so if anyone needs to correct me please do.

Cool.... I am thinking about this once my front lip goes on...

Here are a couple photos of quite possibly the only Nissan Cube interior mood lighting kit installed in a 370Z. D&V Autobody installed it with the help of Chantilly Nissan this past Friday. The kit has a total of 20 different mood colors but I think we know what color I'll be keeping it on.
