thanks. they are shine auto rear add-ons. they were $215 shipped.

chuckd05 12-13-2011 10:50 PM

Looks great !

I will add that the Stillen side skirts pair with those real add-ons perfectly. Esfourtedn and 98intrigue have/had those rears with Stillen side skirts and it looks like they are made to be used together. They have the same lines and contour. It would be the final touch to your exterior mods

Look in my photo albums in the "July Li meet" nicks 40th is in there with that combo

yeah I was thinking about either getting those or the evo r blades. the evo r blades seem to flow nicely too. boost_lee has em and they look amazing

chuckd05 12-14-2011 01:27 PM

Yea either would be a nice final touch

Shadowx2x 12-15-2011 06:52 PM

Jeff long time no see! Nice to see everything you've done to your Z. Now that you're dropped I'm curious to ask you if you've had any scraping issues with the Stillen front lip or the flanges on the Berk exhaust. I'm itching to drop the car. Hope to see you at the local meets soon!

Hey nick. Yeah its been a while. And no I have not scraped my stillen lip yet. But I am always scraping my sport chin spoiler. I was thinking of taking it off but couldn't figure how lol. The drop makes a huge difference you should definitely do it. Throw 25mm spacers all around and you're perfectly flush

Nick911sc 03-09-2012 10:41 AM

Have you thought about grinding down part of the chin spoiler for ground clearance? At least at that point it would add a little extra protection to your fascia. Arnold did it to his car and he said he barely scrapes it anymore.

I'll drop the car eventually. Everyday I get closer and closer to doing it. Only thing I'm waiting on is if I want to spend extra money to get Koni's along with it.... Haven't made up my mind yet.

yeah ive though about it but i'd rather just take it off and put it back on if im selling the car or something. rather not ruin the thing. what springs you planning on going with?

Looks awesome! Wow seeing this makes me want to get my calipers done. Now did you send them away or do it yourself?!

Also, what color is that? Looks boss!

sparky 03-15-2012 06:47 PM

That looks great! Looks like you sprayed them in place. Did you use a caliper painting kit? Just curious how you cleaned and prepped them prior to painting.

Nah I couldnt get myself to commit to the black and gold theme. It would have been too much work and $$. Im getting them done Fire Red and also ordered red Z1 post-MAF tubes.

Your car is coming along awesome by the way. Keeping it very clean.

black and gold would've looked awesome with some nice rims. a local member used to own this car:

i think it was perfectly executed  but fire red will no doubt look just as great. and thanks. i was thinking of getting the nismo spoiler like you have but damn that thing is pricey so i guess it will have to wait

kielbasa16 03-16-2012 12:24 PM

Yeah that look tight, but I would have taken it to another level. I wouldnt want to leave any trace of silver on the exterior and I just didnt want to go to that extreme.

As for the Nismo spoiler, I actually have the Seibon NSM full carbon fiber version which is a bit cheaper. There is also an EVO-R replica out there now and theres even a new thread where somebody purchased a replica off of ebay for like $250. Not sure if he has installed it yet, Ill try to find the thread.

Here it is: http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...g-spoiler.html

Its tjlazer who is doing pretty much a full Nismo conversion.

Calipers look awesome!!! Your car has come a long way since I saw it at the track that day. I love everything you've done. Now you just need a nice intercooler in your bumper and the car will be perfected. Haha.

Thanks chuck! Hopefully we get more track time this year and hopefully its not 108 out. :shakes head: haha the intercooler would make the car perfect. But my wallet would be completely dry :(
