Hey Danny

Best looking Z on here for sure! Great job!

Just out of interest, has the overall rolling diameter of the wheel/tire combo changed much compared to the stock wheels? Just thinking of problems with the indicated vs actual speed.

Cheers,

Its within 1-5mm I think - I did have all that written down but I dont remember at the moment, but I'm sure it was within a few mm's

I am loving your Z, I wasn't too much of a fan of grey if i'm not mistaken, but you have changed my opinion with your great looking Z. The drop and wheels define so much to this car, it's amazing how it turned out.

Congrats and I look forward in seeing your latest pics or next mods.

It looks awesome, Danny, the drop is perfect! Any updates on problems with bumps/scraping anywhere? You had only mentioned driveways before...

How did the rally go? I used to live in Wood Ridge and recognized the area immediately when I saw the map.

The rally was.... AmaZing :) it was an absolute gorgeous day and 100+ cars were their. We crossed into NY then back to NJ and some of those roads are just an absolute blast to drive!

I'm going to be posting some results of my alignment/corner balancing today in the afternoon. But I eliminated the rubbing and pretty much the scraping 100%. The one thing you do need to be careful with is those extra large speed bumps and buckled up pavement. Because you WILL scrap that cross brace under the car! I rarely cone across those and was only forced to go over it once. Everything is fine tho.

miguez 06-01-2009 10:16 AM

That's great news, how did you get rid of the rubbing and scrapping?

DannyGT,

Care to PM the price you paid for your wheels and where you bought them?

Thanks!
