I wanna do an actual photoshoot one day soon. I think I might do it similar to yours with the parking lot at night. I've got a location in mind too. I will probably do it with my cousin since he has a nice camera.

Sounds great man, any SLR camera with the appropriate manual settings, 18-55mm & 50mm - 250mm lenses, appropriate flash and tripod will def help do the job. Peter (the gent who did the shoot for me) had a Canon SLR and was also using my T2i.

It's not an SLR camera, but it's still better than my Droid Incredible :p
