I didn't get around to post pictures of my car yet. So here they are.

P.S: Yes those are Bat's(TM'ed) overlays ;)

Are the tails and headlights sprayed or just tinted? They look tinted but good either way. Love the tails ;)

Nice car BTW. Is it A/T or M/T?

JunoonX 04-06-2009 09:13 PM

M/T, tail and headlights are overlays (vinyls) by Bat.

The overlays, and the carbon fiber, look great on this color! Have you done anything with the interior?

JunoonX 04-07-2009 03:41 PM

Interior's next, custom CF overlays coming soon.
As for the exterior, I have axis matte black wheels on order, and 20'' rubber (I know what you're thinking, kono ecchi :P) to go with. That's a spring project (trust me, its not here yet in MN).

This is going to look pretty sharp all the way around!

It looks very interesting with headlight overlays,

Do you have any more of the front end pictures? I am seriously contemplating wheter or not I should get overlays for front, and rear..

Thanks man~ ;)

RCZ 04-07-2009 10:18 PM

The rears look good.

MightyBobo 04-07-2009 10:56 PM

Not a fan of the front overlays.

Rears look good.

JunoonX 04-09-2009 03:18 AM

I'll be waxing the car this weekend so I'll post more close-ups soon. Many of my friends are 50/50 on the front overlays, but the rear has gotten just about everyone drooling. I know this setup will look TONS better with a set of nice matte black wheels. I'll share on that bit once my wheels are here.

MightyBobo 04-09-2009 05:55 AM

I just remember being in a car w/ front overlays, and I didnt like the fact that the headlights power was somewhat diminished.

But tinted tails always look good :)...just not totally blacked out lol.

bullitt5897 04-09-2009 10:11 AM

Junoon how easy were the tails to do? I did the rear valence and the 3rd brake light first and man did the rear valence take some PATIENCE!!! lol I was surprised how much that vinyl stretches.

JunoonX 04-10-2009 12:40 AM

^

Well let's see, here's how it went.

From easiest to least easiest :P

- B-pillar
- Rear valence
- tail lights
- Headlights (a b*tch to get on - I would DEFINITELY recommend the Laminax material instead)

After doing this, failing the first time (turned out a lil short and the vinyl tore in two places), had Bat resize and re-send, and re-did, it turned out wonderfully.

I have to say this, if you're not patient, you will screw this up, so take your time in doing it. Because, unlike the z33, this one is a PITA to get on.

@MightyBobo: I have to agree, it does not look best on just about every car, far worse on the yellow hue headlights than HIDs. These look fine to me, its not crazy bright, but its definitely very comfortable to drive in the night.

Tails look pretty good , but never was a fan of front overlays. I think doing the mod like Amplified did is a much better choice, this way you don't sacrifice your lighting performance. It also sort of cheapens the car IMHO.
