Not yet. I'm laid up from surgery. I go to GTM next Tuesday. Will have something by Thursday (I'm not taking my computer).

I had to break mine apart and clean them as well. Since I have done that they have not condensated at all. I don't think MR uses enough silicone when they seal them back. Hopefully you have better luck the second time.

P.S. don't sell your Z. Once it's done it will be well worth it!

:iagree: with the sealant. I almost used 4 silicone just to seal them.

Yeah, that's what I used. 2 tubes per head light.

I will mention that to them if they are going to open them back up.

Just hope yours didn't dry up. It's a PITA to remove them..!

What I have been told is not to use silicone as that's what it makes the fumes/mark inside the light. Just heating oem sealent is enough

I've had my lights apart three times with no leaks using the oem sealant.

I just make sure that I push as much sealant back in the channel while it is still warm.

Damn, that's good to know. Unfortunately, if they have already disposed of the OEM sealant, they probably used silicon.

Lots a good news today. Headlights came back from MRWorks today. Kudos to Marco and Ryan for taking care if me and standing behind their work. Hopefully these don't condense. Second, as sam posted in the FI section, Stage 2 is nearing the end of testing. I flew to Socal to see the car at GTM today. It's in a few pieces here and there, but, things are coming along. I'm working from an iPad 2 so I don't think I can include pics from the iPad. Or at least I haven't figured it out yet. Not much to see anyway, it's on a lift having the new exhaust put on. Hopefully things will start to move quicker now. Sam is going to be starting a separate thread on my car soon. Getting very :excited:
