I wasn't a fan of the red on the 350, but these pics are making red on the 70 look great!

Do you not have images bigger than the original size? I have a 1920x1200 monitor and nothing to fill it with.

Northern VA for the win! Our paths will cross one of these days, Sir!
We're a lot alike! My last performance car was a Mustang and lookie right there in your drive parked next to the Z. Great taste, my friend! Great taste! And awesome pics. I just bought a DSLR so I'm hoping I can start to taking some nice shots like yours. :D |
Curious, what are you shooting HDR with, got your exif data handy? And interesting results with the cloudy low light and HDR. Nice shots.

The HDR gallery should be some drooling material for a while... |
hey i think you were the one i saw yesterday saturday around 2pm-3pm on Rt. 29 in Centreville. I was in a blue 350Z and pulled up next to you, i waved but i dont think you saw me. You made a left turn on stringfellow, was it you?

Yep it was me... I did see your Blue 350z but I didn't see the wave! :hello: Sorry! |
Wow, first I had car envy and now camera envy. You are killing me! :icon17:
I purchased a D300 only 4 weeks prior to the D700 being released. I would have paid another grand for the D700, but I did not even know it was coming out. The D300 is still very nice. The D700 does not tempt me enough that I'd want to sell my D300 to get it - Unlike what the 370 does to my 350 ;). I'd love the improved High-ISO performance, but 95% of my shooting situations wouldn't use it. The FF sensor is very tempting. Very nice HDRs. I have not started any yet. Which processing software do you use. The thumbnails look over-processed, but then I look at the full-size images, they are just right. What lens and apertire did you shoot the chopper with? (#64 of 70) Very nice and well-placed depth of field. I imagine you are bracketing with a tripod? Nice work! I just signed up for a smugmug account so I'll be posting pics there soon - as soon as I can figure out the user interface. Quote:

Next there will be a D3 or D3x on the forum. What? I can dream can't I?
Have any tips for good car photography? Like angles for good (useful) reflection? I've been meaning to try some night bulb shots once I go SLR again. Though I'll need a decent city scape/night scene first... |

I usually use Photomatix. I actually have a D300 as well, great camera. |

I haven't had a chance to do too much moving vehicles but that is what I would like to do next. |
