Is your car sporting a coilovers now or just lowering springs.

Mr&Mrs 12-23-2012 06:57 PM

The Blue is on BC BR coils, ane Silver is on Nismo Springs.

Not sure how I mised all these updates.

Car looks great Rob. Those wheels are just about perfect.

How is she running for you?

Mr&Mrs 12-26-2012 09:35 PM

I was wondering why I had not heard from you! Running pretty good. The other night I took her out and done a third gear pull onto the interstate and I hit 12.9 AFR at WOT so I shut it down. It was like 50 degrees out, and the increase in power sucking in that cold air was night and day to the hot temps I ran it in a few months back. After dinner I done a pull in third and fourth and it was fine 11.5 at WOT. I have no clue why I see these odd lows and highs at random (remember in some hot temps I saw 10.5).

I just hit 600 miles since I got her and have enjoyed every minute of it. Now that the wheels are on the car I may not get the APR wing, not sure why, but the sport wing flows perfect with the wheels IMO. I may use that money towards a Zele Exhaust system, because I keep hitting the F.I on everything and scratching them up. If I do a different exhaust I will get it retuned as well because of the size difference and goofy AFR numbers at random.

Next year if I still want to go crazy I may build the motor, im following a few builds right now to figure out the exact route I want to go. 600WHP on pump gas will be my goal. Which should be do-able if I rebuild these turbos with the .86 internals.

I know shes mine now but I hope you like the path I have taken with her

It is possible that that gauge needs to be recalibrated. The manual that I sent you will tell how to do it.
Have you done a log with Cypher?
That will give you the reading of the factory wide band. It is much easier to read after than trying to drive and look at the gauge.
I do remember that Sam told me that the factory ones do read 1.0 off (not sure if it was rich or lean) so take that into account.

I agree about the spoiler. Looks clean with those wheels. And if you can swing it that Zele exhaust would be SICK!

Glad you're having fun with her.

And yes, I approve.

I have not done a log yet. Actually do not even know how to do it. If I ever get time to sit down and study something besides work stuff I will look into it.

On another note all this work just allowed me to order this

:happydance: Mark said it should be here by February, im glad he stays up late so I can spend money :rofl2:

Those forgestars look super! I'm reeeeally interested to see a rolling shot with those. Can you capture one for me? This might be my new set of wheels!

Mr&Mrs 12-26-2012 11:32 PM

I will do my best to get it taken care of for you. My only day off is Saturday and I look pretty booked already. Maybe on the 1st I can make it happen.

You have a good eye for photo's. I'm putting the Spec-R Srings on today, will get you the stock set up back to you over the weekend.

Thanks again brother..:tiphat:

Dembflyr 12-28-2012 08:12 AM

Can you get that exhaust non resonated? It's gonna be real quiet. My Berk was almost stock sounding after the TT kit was on. That's why I went with the non resonated FI.

OH RIGHT

I got berks+Y with res+the exhaust and it is cool because it growls when the rpm goes up but as dembflyr said it will be quiet but! if you don't mind there is not reason for it. I think later i will buy a Y pipe with none resonator.

I will post a video when i get back the car from the shop (2013)

^^Yep, I'm getting an exhaust shop to rework my Berk Exhaust so it doesn't have resonators... I need that growl.

The Zele exhaust is so nice looking and really does finish off the rear bumper. It's worth asking if they can build one without resonators
