Calipers will be matched as soon as Mike gets his core set ready, Beyond that I will probably be getting the Kinetix intake manifold and matching those as well.

Going to be about 1k for the kinetic intake manifold. The manifold looks great. Going toleave mine polished.

going to leave the runners polished, but powdercoat the "boxes" to match my intakes.

In other news, my Stillen bumper is expected to ship tomorrow! Going to see if I can talk the wife into letting me get sides at the same time since it will be cheaper to paint everything together :tup:

Caravan, will your Stillen fascia be constructed with the new batch of polyurethane and include the new support bracket? I don't know if you followed that thread, but Mike had a bubble under his left headlight. Stillen claimed the polyurethane they were using was too soft and that they needed to add another support bracket.

Unfortunately they wont arrive until Thursday. If they are like my bumper, probably a day late. Stupid fedex didn't even attempt delivery today due to a "weather delay" after it was on the truck for delivery. It was 95 and partly cloudy today...tough driving conditions

so fedex still showed up today, even though I got an email saying they weren't coming

ideally I'd like 2-piece with the hats powdercoated the same color, but not spending that kind of $$ on it. May get stoptechs when these go out.

You dont want to powder-coat the hats, they will scratch to hell. When you see companies with colored hats, they are anodized. Why go stop-tech when you can get Endless brakes @ 1/3 the price of the whole car. 10k+...Joking...Yeah stop-techs are nice and at a good price. I need new brakes ASAP. Along with new wheels and Tires...Want to give me yours ;)

PS: When you box up those wheels, tires and brakes to send me; go ahead and throw in your headlights too ;)

I thought stoptech had some basic slotted rotors...that's what I meant.

Why would powdercoated hats get scratched? Calipers and wheels do great powdercoated...hats shouldn't be any different.

Regarding wheels and tires, I'm ready for a change...would always consider offers :tup:

Mounting and unmounting the wheel causes wear and anodizing makes for a better job in this area. not to say some do this but it is not recomended. The bad thing about trying to match powder-coated colors to anodized colors is it is very hard to get a perfect match.

As you can see some companies anodize the caliper and the hats. Alliance is another company that does anodized hats and calipers, Bullitt has these brakes so might want to check his out! Anywho, did you get my parts in the mail yet?;)

Ya, I guess the wheels can have an impact on them...but I can't imagine it would be that bad. Not going with a BBK, so no big deal :tup:
