Wonder if the new z 9at will be able to hold more power and be somewhat bolt in to older z’s?

Hopefully the IPT build will hold at 800whp, as if not...will be using an adapter & installing a built 4L80e

Nooo, this VQ will be good for up to 40# boost :iagree:
I’ll be able to dial it on up with sturdier trans.
Just unsure how far & what would break first :ugh2:

What are you doing or need to do reg. driveshaft and or driveshaft safety loop, and the rear diff and axles?

Current rear differential has 3.357 gears & Quaife helical, rear axles are ordered...108/115 DSS Pro-Level w/upgraded outer bearings.
Carbon fiber shaft is factory for now; planning to add a hoop or 2...but DSS makes those if this one fails.
I’m trying to beef up known areas of failure; I’ll know more when I start hooking at the strip.
Planning to pick up a 3.90 diff for 1/4 mile, but should do pretty good with what I have. :ugh2:

At 25psi the car is not very drivable with the stock ECU. 700whp is the sweet spot for the chassis. You can dial it up all you want but going from A to B will be a problem.

Would a sponsorship from the “Baconaitor” be considered technical :ugh2:

Like how many slices of bacon you can fit on top of the engine block and the speed you need to reach to cook them? Awesome! I am interested as well :tiphat:
