Pretty incredible OP is putting in the work to save the car vs. taking an easier path in a newer less ruined car.

Appears lots of work was done... definitely an improvement from when you first got it.

1 Question tho - Why would you put a NISMO emblem on the back bumper if it's a 2009 370z base?

fatso666 10-30-2020 11:14 AM

i converted it to be nismo, full nismo interior, front and rear damper, cluster, steering wheel, 3 gauges, shifter console, red button start, nismo floor mats, sport pedals,e-brake, rear spoiler, exhaust manifold, cats, etc. I think it deserves the nismo badge

next im going to get the akebonos...

You've got some patience to see this through!

Great seeing the Z looking respectable once again.

Restoration, not skimming on little things, just very impressive, rare to see this level of restoration effort done on a relatively young car. Can’t wait to see the outcome!

thanks man, i really appreciate it, it was a long journey more than 3 months of patience, research, dedication and unexpected surprises now i can say that the car looks like it was meant to be, from now on i can start to modify it accordingly. i'd like to think that i bought it like this instead.

don't know what you mean, just for you to know i live outside the US and in my country there are only 5 Zs and this one is the only manual, so this one was a sure bet, instead of bringing some crashed turd from copart and paying lots of money on shipping to my country and customs taxes i got this locally, lucky me it already has cats, exhaust, fenders and carbon mirrors, i think i saved some money instead of importing another Z. and is not ruined, the engine is perfect, no leaks, no smoke, perfect.

more pics, i can't get enough of it
