Did you put the grease fittings in the correct position? They have to be under the compression side side of the yoke.

"Many times harder than it should have been due to my basic baffonary."

That statement hit real close to home for me.

Heads are being cleaned and block bored and checked. I should be able to start motor building in a few weeks!

Covid stopped the world but we’ll begin body panel replacement and wheel flare building this week. Also my bored block is back from the machine shops as well as my balanced crank and heads with mild cam. I’ll start building the motor in a week or two.

My hood was pretty bad so after months this beautiful thing has arrived.

I’ll probably put about 10k into body work to make her way better than new. That will include a full SCCA type cage.

The parts bin is just about complete. This body work has been in line for several months. It’s good to have it rolling again.

Glad things are moving forward. That hood is sexy.

I was in the Denver area a couple days ago seeing family. I wanted to catch up with you. But got busy.

Mostly done with body work. Need to pull the front right corner straight.

Fabbing up the fuel cell mount bracket.

Picked up roll bar steel this morning.

Rusty 09-23-2020 07:40 PM

You're this far into the chassis. Just as well to seam weld now.
