Did you get heavy duty hatch struts for your wing? Just replaced mine with the Z1 UHP's and they are incredible. I have trouble closing my hatch now even with my heavy V1 wing :icon17:

Yeah, I went with the mega high pressure to play it safe. I think I would have needed 2 sets on each side, for my old 350z. Having had the spoiler molded to the hatch.

Small update

main part of this was taking the stock side skirts clips and putting them on the new ones. That way they sit firm and flush, the way I want them to. Better chance to tear the side splitters off, when I undoubtedly step on them, the first day I get the car back

Looking like a true pro job!

I'm kind of shocked that the brackets needed to be made on the side skirts.

I went by the shop, fitted it and did the testing myself as well as watching them do it, to really see what the different was. It didnt NEED to be done, but at the end of the day, I just preferred it. The cost was very low on their end as well, that was a big factor of course.

If someone were to ask me about the kit and if it actually should be a step taken, I would say no, you dont really need to. The over all fitment on the sideskirts is a good 8-9/10

I also got a tune about 7 months ago, I completely forgot to share that. Cant find the before number pic but heres the result from Z1. I dont have much installed, just my Motordyne ART pipes, exhaust, and stillen intakes. I BELIEVE the first pull was around 290atw and ended up at 322/264atw

Rear Bumper has first prime done, for other slight fixes of areas that need smoothing. Stock license plate lighting hardware and brackets transferred over to the new bumper, side skirts are ready for paint, and rear spoiler mounted and fit.

Looks like the spoiler doesnt fully cover where the stock one was, so they may have to repaint. They are hoping the part that still shows will buff out.

Also, it definitely was required to pull the stock brackets for the license plate lighting and such. Seems to be the norm that the shine auto kit doesnt allow for easy transfer of the stock lighting hardware.

Modding by Proxy!

Last piece of the puzzle being smoothed out right now. The shop owner also came up with his own remedy for trimming off the bolt from where the front bumper meets the fender. Ill show better shots of that, when I get the car back.

What hasnt been shown in pics are the side and front splitters and the hood, which is still 3-5 weeks out from being delivered.
