AAM Competition TT 800hp Build

Don't really post on here much, as I mainly use these forums to browse for info. Figured now would be a good time to introduce myself and become more active on here!

I have the pleasure of owning a 2013 Nismo. Its currently boosted with the AAM kit making 530whp/500wtq @14 psi. It just went in for some major body work and a full engine build with supporting mods that should put it in the 800whp range! All engine work being done by AAM Competition

Since this is pretty much my first post, here's current performance mods:

AAM Twin Turbo system
AAM Fuel Return system
AAM Z MAFS
AAM 3" Custom Downpipes
AAM 3" Dual Exhaust w/ Titanium tips
OS Giken Twin Disc Clutch
ZSpeed HD CSC
AP Racing Radi-cal Brake kit
AP Racing J-hook rotors
Stance Pro Comp 2 coilovers
SPL camber arms
SPL toe arms
SPL eccentric lockout kit
Z1 34row Setrab oil cooler
RJM Adjustable Clutch Pedal assembly
Tanabe Revel gauges - Boost, AFR, Oil temp, oil press
EcuTek Tune, first twin turbo 370z to utilize closed loop fuel control
Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 F:275/30 R:325/30

Build outline for the new setup:

AAMC 4.2l Stroker Kit
AAMC 95.5mm 9.0:1 Forged Pistons
AAMC Forged STG III Rods

AAMC Main Stud Upgrade
Nismo Race Oil Pump
OE Nissan Engine Gasket Kit

AAMC R-Line Twin Pump Fuel System
AAMC R-Line Fuel Rail and Fuel Line Kit Upgrade
AAMC/EcuTek E85 Flex-Fuel Upgrade
Injector Dynamics 1300cc injectors
BorgWarner EFR 7163 Supercore Upgrade

In addition to all of the engine work the car is also having some extensive body work done by APAC out of Linthicum MD that are killing the widebody game. They recently did the worlds first Liberty Walk V10 Audi R8 that debuted at SEMA.

Exterior / Interior mods to be done :

Fly1 Motorsports Niko widebody kit (customized)
Fly1 RS1 Fenders w/ Carbon Fiber vents
Fly1 Carbon Fiber roof cap
Work CR2P Bronze on bronze, F:19x10 +0 R:19x11.5 -44

Wow nice, looks like you will have quite a monster once everything done. Can't wait for more updates!

Can you elaborate on BorgWarner EFR 7163 Supercore Upgrade?

Alterception 11-24-2015 04:02 PM

Thanks Tony! The supercore upgrade is taking the 7163 cores and putting them in to the 6758 frames

iBenJAMM1N 11-24-2015 04:04 PM

This is gonna be a beast build!

Alterception 11-24-2015 04:24 PM

TopgunZ 11-25-2015 08:49 PM

Sounds beast!

ZKraken22 11-26-2015 08:37 AM

Oh ****, might be an epic build!

zguynate 11-26-2015 09:25 AM

Could you not reach the 800whp without the stroker kit? I guess I'm asking if there is any particular reasoning for using a stroker kit.

clkio 11-26-2015 11:20 AM

my car is currently at AAM, I will be picking her up next weekend. I am hoping she makes 700whp! how do you like their work?

800 is definitely reachable with the stock displacement. I opted for the stroker kit as the higher displacement will help the turbos spool quicker and provide more torque due to the longer stroke / more leverage.

My car is the 09 with carbon fiber amuse body kit on her. Been at the shop for three month now and I sure miss her. You should have no problem with 800hp with your setup

clkio 12-03-2015 08:12 AM

Will do for sure! The build is definitely pricey haha. But building a car of this caliber has always been a dream of mine so its worth it to me :yum:

I saw many exhausts, one of them was likely yours. AAM's shop is packed full of parts in production and tons of killer builds!

tonyHTX 12-07-2015 03:22 PM

Man you really have me dreaming of the 7163 core upgrade now! Well, that and the fact that the medium boost actuators on mine are maxed out at 21 PSI so the only way to get more is to change to the high boost actuators. But if I'm pulling the motor to change the actuators... Ahh maybe in 2017 or something!

YzGyz 12-07-2015 04:50 PM

Did somebody say full retard?

Alterception 12-07-2015 05:40 PM

More progress! She's ready to go back to the body shop to start on the widebody and repaint.

Sorry for the lack of updates! The engine has been completely torn down and waiting to go to the machine shop. Changed up the plans a bit and decided to have the block sleeved for added peace of mind and more power potential. Not much has happened on the body shops end, they will be starting on it very soon.

Added a few things to the build:

Darton Mid Sleeves
AAMC Intake Manifold
AAMC 4" Single Exit Exhaust

Should be fun, and allow me to surpass my 800whp goal! :happydance:

The block is back from Darton with the MID sleeves. JE pistons & BC stroker kit are in as well. Waiting on a few more bits before final assembly

APAC got the bay shaved and painted along with the jambs. She goes back to AAM this week to have the engine reinstalled! Will update more when she hits the dyno.
