I know you guys have these systems exposed and for show. Any one have a nicely tucked system? I would love to join the "gang" because of the tuning capabilities with spring rates and efficiency of driving the car in my town.. but then I love to push my car around whether it's autocross or my idea of making more dragon runs over the year lapse and I want to have that tank and stuff secured. Plus how's the cabin noise?
Some awesome rides here! |
My setup is hidden and secure under a false floor I built in my hatch.
You can see the tank tucked in the back there on the left side of this pic, and one of the compressors under that board. http://i.imgur.com/1QMp0pjh.jpg Center section is small sealed sub box.. have a crappy grill that i use when hauling stuff to protect the speaker. http://i.imgur.com/7Rvduyah.jpg Cabin noise isn't bad if you tuck the compressors away like I did. no louder really than a nice exhaust. |

Older picture of my setup. Now have Daul tanks & compressors on the other side, mirrored.

Bringing this post back from the dead.. looking to see where people are mounting their control upfront by the driver. Most cars have flat spots that make it easy to mount but our dash is curved with no easy places to mount.
|
Find a cell phone mount that goes by the knee pads. I saw a few people repurpose the Kuda mount but not sure it's made anymore.
