I was 982rwhp and 799ftlbs on race gas in 100* weather... i already posted those numbers but feel free to spread false information about my build when I decided to comment on your thread. I did not diss your build but stated I am looking forward to your progress. Stop being childish and grow up Moses.

My apologies, was not aware of the dyno results last month of the 982 rwhp VP Racing Fuels C16. Only made aware of the ones during the spring. Congrats on the numbers. Also I can read that your signature says "2009 1000hp+ 93oct GTM 4.5L TT 370z"

You mentioned in the post earlier when asked "who will be the first 1000hp" but yet your still making changes to the mods and recently "30 days ago" where able to reach your highest rwhp at 982rwhp. So from October 2010 to August 2015 its been over 1,000 rwhp, 800 ft lb on tq on pump gas but as of July 2015 your new shop states "Its been an early morning at TopSpeed Motorsports. I started well before sunrise to reset the record for the highest horsepower 370Z in the world. Thanks to some VP Racing Fuels C16, Mike Mixon's 370Z made 982rwhp@24psi Calibrated with EcuTek International Ltd."

So Spring 2015 was 850 rwhp with your old tuning software, spring 2015 was 900 rwhp with new ecutek tuning and summer 2015 982rwhp with c16 fuel. Just wondering how you reached 1000rwhp so many years ago with old tuning software and on pumpgas...

So these magazine articles and online posts over the last 5 years stating 1000rwhp/800 ft lb of torque when you didnt have the current tune or have ecutek happened how exactly? I assume that's all incorrect? October 2010 "The results were very impressive and enough to earn Mixon and GTM the title belt for a massive horsepower claim. The peak horsepower was over 1,000 at the wheels with an estimated 800lb-ft of torque!" PASMAG | PERFORMANCE AUTO AND SOUND - Shake Up: Mike Mixon's 2009 Nissan 370Z

The only reason I posted this was simply because you mentioned in your last post I was childish and to grow up. You take it extremely defensive knowing your so close to 1000rwhp and whenever anybody ask for dyno sheets you make it appear as that's an idiotic request.

I am glad to see you were able to get closer to your goal however you need to stop being so defensive towards my build. If I hit over 1k then great, if I blow up my motor then great....but I no where stated I hit 1k rwhp and stated originally its an estimate. If I reach 500rwhp, then I will claim 500 rwhp. If I reach 900 rwhp, I will claim 900 rwhp..

Sharif@Forged 08-12-2015 03:02 PM

I think most people would agree, that for us to claim 1000+ horsepower, we have to make that power to the wheels. TSM and Mike have set the bar at 982whp Dyno Jet and congratulations are due.

When we selected the turbocharger we made certain we have more than enough airflow to punch through that target. But nothing matters and nobody should care, until we deliver results. Talk is cheap, as the old saying goes.

So rather than talk about what we are doing, we are just going to do it and report back when done. We are navigating in uncharted waters and I am pretty excited about what is to come. Thanks you.

Carbon_z 08-12-2015 03:09 PM

agreed... Back on topic. Looking forward to the testing and hoping to report good news, will also report bad news lol

bullitt5897 08-12-2015 03:24 PM

Again your being childish... I posted my dyno sheets as requested. Unlike you I had to pave the way to make my power and do things that had not been done before.... Meaning I had to wade through unknown territory. The numbers came from GTM for the article along with many of the specs. I did not write the article but was given the opportunity to correct any issues I had with the article. If you have ever had a feature you would know this... But you have never been a cover car so until you have you can think whatever the hell you want.

The car made 1000whp on GTMs dyno on different fuel and at different temps... But yes discount that when making your apples to oranges comparisons... The mods I have made were based on reliability mods and safe guards... But hey paint whatever picture you want... I don't care nor do I have to prove anything. You are following in my shadow and it pisses you off. You got all butt hurt when people called you out for going the similar route that I did (twin turbo and stroker). People called you a copy cat and what did you do? You went on a tirade calling me out and saying I was the one calling you a copy cat... Of which never happened but hey... I'm the one stirring this up according to you. You have ostracized yourself locally with a lot of the people and while many of us respect what your doing including myself you continue this tirade of being an ******* and being aggressive. I simply made two points in your thread:

1: your choice in a quadruple plate clutch is going to be very difficult to drive but hey that's your choice... A triple would have held your power just fine and would made driving much easier!

2: you are running a plastic manifold which has stability issues at higher boost levels that you are going to need to make 1000whp. Hence the reason I went GTR manifold and the reason you called me multiple times on my cell trying to get one. I also stated your probably going to need higher boost levels to make the same power and also e85 as well. You took that as an attack an that is sad... This doesn't not speak badly of your build but is a observation based on all the finished builds from the forum... The highest boost level on a stock intake is around 24psi at the moment. So if you bypass that then your in uncharted Territory. I applaud you for doing that and paving the way.

You see I was being nice... Yet you are turning this into a flame war and a stupid ******* circus! You strive off of drama! So get back on topic and stop focusing on my build since you don't even know the facts... Stop spreading false information until you have the facts. /end rant

I will watch and we shall see what you make. I know how much it's going to take to get to these levels and I am waiting to see how you approach the problems I faced in breaking through many of the barriers you will have to face... Good luck!

bullitt5897 08-12-2015 03:25 PM

Sharif,

I look forward to your results!

Carbon_z 08-12-2015 04:10 PM

Mike thanks for the input but much of the information you listed above is incorrect and obviously you are not aware of which mods I am running or my goals for the car. Regardless to say, I am fully aware of both steps you mentioned. You failed to follow up with a simple question "So how do you expect to resolve this issue?" Had you asked, you would realized we have a solution for that.

Again, I appreciate your input but we have already discussed the situation and came with a resolution for the issues you keep bringing up. NOt sure why you had to repeat it twice in the same thread. We didnt jump into this build blindly. 6 months of discussions and ideas. So please stop assuming we have not factored all aspects of my own build.

again, I have not called you any names or etc. All i did was discuss your build and your dyno results. You have called me an Azzwhole, childish, to grow up, aggressive and etc..I have voice recordings from individuals with you speaking negativitely about me. When did I once bring your personal behavior or others opinions about you into this thread? All I simply said is post a dyno sheet for what your own damn SIGNATURE SAYS " Shop Cars: 2013 318whp Nismo VspecII 370z, 2009 1000hp+ 93oct GTM 4.5L TT 370z"

bullitt5897 08-12-2015 04:15 PM

I am simply going off the information you are posting in your own thread. Any information I have stated is based on such information and taking what you have posted as fact. I have only stated what you posted as fact. If the information is wrong then you need to adjust your post. If you are not running a quadruple plate then fix your post. If you are not running a stock intake manifold then fix your post. Simple as that...

Carbon_z 08-12-2015 04:20 PM

Again, you really should just leave this thread. Your negatively impacting your own image. My original post which does not even state any information about a stock manifold, pay attention to the second to the last sentence, "quoted from POST #1" states:

I think you guys should settle this on the track;)

Two bad azz Z's...but let see who has the better build:stirthepot:

Carbon_z 08-12-2015 04:57 PM

I'll be at wannagofast In september for the half mile runs. Plans are racing my buddies alpha 9 gtr. So I'll be there. Hope to see you there too Mike.

Should be fun but mainly testing out the Z against some good competition. Whether I win or lose, I'll have a smile on my face. Those GTR'S are no joke. AWD is one mod I want so badly

bullitt5897 08-12-2015 06:06 PM

So your not running a stock intake manifold? Awesome! are you having a custom sheet metal one made or is Charles going to release his unicorn one (which everyone has begged him to release) to you? I take it your going to go with a short runner style since your keeping your lower intake manifold as your pictures imply.

How about fueling? What twin pump setup are you going to use? I assume your going CJM twin pump and an e85 setup since your going to run ID 1700's.

Carbon_z 08-12-2015 06:11 PM

The manifold information will be released later. Fuel system as well. Some of the information isn't being released at the moment because of testing stage.

Uh oh, I think we have a challenge! What do you say Bullit?

TSM vs. Forged? Or better yet GTM vs. FI

Who's the real king of the 370Z?
