Isai's Nismo

I finally got to take some decent shots of my Nismo with my DSLR instead of my phone!

I have quite a bit planned for this. Starting small this year and going to a whole different level next year.

Here's an update..

I now have an MXP True Dual catback exhaust, lowered the car on KW V3's, and added 30mm spacers all around.

Very nice. It looks great lowered on stock rims and the spacers do a great job while helping the appearance of it. That's exactly what I want to do with my vehicle but living in northern NJ I don't think will be a wise thing to do since the roads are in bad shape. The roads here are too bumpy, there are more craters, cracks and holes than "good sections of asphalt" and If I want to drive in NYC there is no way I could do it since NY roads are no different than NJ.
What did you used to correct camber?

AntiVenom 03-29-2015 07:39 PM

looks good. few simple enhancements really bring out the best in the nismo.

what tires are you running?

MR.nismo 03-30-2015 07:10 PM

Would you please share your current set up. Tire size, suspension settings and on. I have never been a huge fan of black but I find yours very clean and nicely presented.
Well done.
One more thing, can I steal this pic?

Camber is sitting at -4 right now, via stock components. I have SPC camber arms sitting in my room waiting to be installed.

These are stock size tires, 245-40-19/285-35-19. But I'm going to raise the rear soon to fit 305's and 0 out the camber.

Sure, just leave my watermark there lol

Mr_ClarkKent_ 05-13-2015 11:34 PM

Small update! Decided to wrap my mirrors red and they came out pretty well. I've had mixed opinions, but I like them. Also, got 20% tints with 50% on the windshield.

https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7720/...63550c3b_b.jpg

BUT... soon the whole car is going to be done. The decided color is currently "under wraps". See what I did there?

Ha, the life of a black car owner. When its clean: "I love this car!" When its dirty: "F this, I'm painting or wrapping it an easier color to keep clean."

370Ztune 05-14-2015 07:15 PM

Excellent Pics!!! Keep them coming!!!

MR.nismo 05-19-2015 12:22 AM

You meant 50% tinted windows on the front as on the front windshield? Does that affect visibility at night? I didn't know the front could be "tinted".
Pardon my ignorance.
Nice pic, now go and take some more.

Haha, my last car was also black. I said I'd never own a black car again and ended up with this one, lol. I'm excited to wrap it just so it can look clean a little longer!

Yes, 50% on the windshield. Any tint on the windshield is illegal here in Illinois, but I decided to take the risk haha. And no, no visibility issues at all with 50%. I have friends with darker windshields than mine, but I don't have the guts to go as dark as them.

Thank you! Not everyone is too fond of it, but I've been getting way more positive feedback than negative :)

MR.nismo 08-04-2015 12:37 AM

Hey, what the hell...no new pics. I know summer is in full swing and you are probably busy driving around showing off your "new" car.
Nothing man, I just like to see the stance on this Z with the factory wheels, not so many can achieve the looks as you have even with stock wheels. Well done my friend.!!!!

Mr_ClarkKent_ 09-20-2015 12:22 AM

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update! The Z has been treating me very well so far and I'm loving it. I did decide to wrap the front bumper after all, but thought I'd follow the lines of the hood and I think it came out really well. I also made my own eyelids out of some leftover vinyl I had.

Welp, I'm currently looking for a new daily so I can store the Z in the winter and save up some more money, as this Z and gas aren't very good friends lol. I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer!

Mr_ClarkKent_ 12-02-2015 07:57 PM

Back to black..

Just bought an Accord for the winter. A lot to get done until next summer!
