Just noticed your contraption for the oil temp probe. If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing then you put a threaded NPT fitting into the AN hose fitting, followed by a collar nut and then inserted the probe into that. I assume that was to make up the length difference in the probe compared to the oil line fitting.
If so, that's brilliant!!! How did it work out for you? I tried something much more complicated and am not happy with the out come. My next step was to tap the oil pan spacer but if this worked for you it's much easier than pulling the pan. Quote:
