MAZOC and the rest of the370z.com it has been a good run!

This is a direct copy and paste from my Facebook status a couple days ago

"Friday July 26th will be my last day here at AAM Competition and the beginning of a new chapter in life!

I've learned more about the Nissan Infiniti community than I could have ever imagined, the GT-R is a beast, and following that, the VQ platform is quite the machine. I never really considered the people I've helped, consulted, and sold to "customers". The concept of sales is simple, "you take care of them and they'll take care of you" Some of the people I've met, I can easily consider long term friends!

I will still be around to answer questions, help with installs, take pictures, attend meets/shows, etc, etc, so It's not like I'm moving to another country and you guys won't have any access to me haha! YES I will still be at zdayz 2014, and for my beachdayz 2013 guys, that is still a GO!

So, most of you are probably wondering if I'm leaving on a bad note? The answer is 100% NO. The new opportunity is a no brainer, and it's unfortunate I have to leave AAM Competition behind. I'll still be promoting and running the Poker Run and potentially throwing another meet at AAM Competition as season closer.

I'm not posting this for the attention, but want to make sure everyone knows that this isn't another "staff turnover" of AAM Competitions. I really hope the person that replaces me will do an even better job at moving this company forward and continues to stay passionate. So please do not try to connect stories of what you've heard and what you currently hear about AAM Competition to the reason why I am leaving.. Some already know, but most don't, but I simply didn't want it to be a surprise to anyone"

MAZOC,

You guys are one awesome group of people, really. It's been an extreme pleasure to meet you all and for those who I haven't met yet, I will sooner than later as I'll still be present at zdayz and the weekly meets, bbq, etc etc. This is a solid club and I can see you all getting bigger and most importantly doing big things. Llike I mentioned above, I never see anyone as a "customer" how I treat you guys is how I expect to be treated, after all, outside of my 9-6 job at AAM Competition, I am just like you guys! Trust me, we all want perfect service, and we all want parts at next to nothing, and I always pushed for this! My time here at AAM Competition is up, but I hope you guys continue to put your trust in the company and I really hope the person who replaces me does an even better job at moving the company forward!

I'm going to miss you all however I am not going anywhere! I'll still see most of you guys around :)

Khoi, I've appreciated your help with all things Z and cars in general. I think I can say that we all consider you a friend as well, not just the guy who helps us at AAM Competition. Best of luck to you in your new endeavors and I will look forward to seeing you on this forum as well as out and about! :tiphat:

Well the big question is what are you moving on to?!?!? Are you still going to be working in the tuner market or what? Going back to college? Whoring your sexy self out on the streets?

He told me on Facebook the other day he accepted a position with BangBros Inc. :yum:

I'll be working for a company named Brands Within Reach (BWR - Brands Within Reach, Drink healthy, live happy) as a territory manager, so still in the sales industry. Territory being the Mid Atlantic region, majority of my time will be spent in DC/VA, and there will be an opportunity for me to relocate to Philadelphia but I just love this area too much so that may not happen haha

Some of you guys might have met Matt, with the blue g37 and gold rims. He's a Regional Sales Manager for the company, and I just so happen to be in the right place at the right time which allowed this awesome opportunity. We've been best of buddies the last year or so and I am pretty darn excited to work for him. I think we understand eachothers work ethic really well and teaming up we should be able to take this company to new levels.

It's funny, I always made fun of him, "bro you sell bottled water" but the reality is, there are a lot of other food/beverage items too, they're mainly premium products imported from all over the world. We bring them in for our master distributors, and help these distributors to sell to grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, ma/pop shops, etc. The food and beverage industry is brand new to me, other than when I use to serve/bartend, so I hope I can excel in this industry much like my past experience, working in the flooring industry for 3 years, then here at AAM for 1 year

I couldn't turn away the compensation, benefits, working with a best friend, and the opportunity to grow myself in the sales industry. There are positions to get promoted to, and this will keep me driven to raise to the top. My ultimate passion is cars and all things related, that's what kept me so motivated here however as a fresh out of college student (being only 25) I couldn't let this limit my goals and potential career opportunities.

Andrew to answer your question, the last part has always been my side job, bangbros is on the hunt and have offered me many opportunities but I rather stay local, I'm not sure what Ron would do without me hahahah just kidding.

4r3s 07-18-2013 09:54 AM

Good for you Khoi! Sounds like a great opportunity, thanks for sharing and I wish you the best!

FPenvy 07-18-2013 10:00 AM

Khoi you know if you move to Philly we can no longer be best friends right? lol

Trips 07-18-2013 10:07 AM

Best Of Luck Khoi

b1adesofcha0s 07-18-2013 10:23 AM

Good luck with the new job Khoi! So can we expect some fancy bottled water from you at the MAZOC BBQ? :p
