I used to get a bit of money for getting straight A's, which I did all throughout high school. I think my parents gsve me like $200 when I graduated from high school. When I asked for a car, they said that they would buy me one when I graduated from college. By the time that happened, I already had my Z so they just bought dinner for me and a couple of my friends.

That report card money and my $10/week allowance was used to purchase probably like 70-80% of my current video game collection :icon17:

My Step Mother who is from Taiwan is exactly like that with my Step-Sister. She pulled down straight As in High School, now has both her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree, is married to a lawyer and isn't yet 30 and her Mom rags on her! :bowrofl:
