I think you will find, that the most knowledgable people on the board made the most mistakes when they first got into the scene.

Usually due to being mocked lol

Besides, EVERYONE does ricer crap when they start...it's that phase between, "I know EVERYTHING!" and, "OK, OK! I get it - I'll shut up and listen, now" that proves to be difficult for many :-p

I started out as a young ricer with a V6 Mustang. Didn't know sh1t. Now I know a ton and can do anything as long as I have the tools to do it.

Pretty sure this is the best way to learn. You pretty quickly find out what is good and what is well...not so good.lol

It's also good just to read. There is a ton of information out there. The hard part is separating the filth from the good stuff. Usually it's pretty easy to determine who knows what they are doing and who doesn't, though.

I've found if you do turn to someone for guidance, you can't be hard-headed or stubborn.

When I learned the most on LS1Tech, is when I shut up and just listened and read what people said. I was asking dumb questions, and making stupid assumptions for a long time.

There is a TON of info out there. Some of it is a little or a lot off from the accurate truth but its all useful in someway.

I mean I bought the Z and was like "I AINT TOUCHIN IT".

Joined the forum...

3 weeks later had an Ark exhaust and Swifts installed.

Fast forward 1 year and Im throwing a turbo in. This place sucks for saving moneys :ughdance:
