Damn, that sucks!

Yes, I had a nice long chat with the better half (or was told) she doesn't want to trailer a car again. It's just tacks on a few more hours to a long trip as it is. And I really don't want to make a 10 hour trip in the Z32. I am confident it will get there, but my back won't be able to take it. So we'll be heading down in the Z34. I am excited to see the difference with the springs and sways this run.

Well, I'm excited to see the unicorn blood guzzler for the first time :D

Can't wait to see you guys there.

I don't see the ZL1 being done anywhere near the time that I would be able to take it. I'm looking at a min. of 12 weeks until I get it and that is best case scenario.:shakes head:

That's a shame, but there's always next year, even if you've got the ZL1 by then

I thought they stopped production?

Fire 03-18-2012 10:14 PM

No they have a production and shipping hold. One car had been delivered to a customer in Texas. All cars are now at the Canada plant. I believe 495 cars have been built and await delivery. I don't know how many cars are like mine and are awaiting production acceptance( and recieve order #'s). I've been told that the hold will last 6 weeks and then production will resume( another 6 weeks). It also has been posted that in June the 2013's will begin production. Do the math and it seems possible that any delays will make mine a 2013.

No more photos of the trailering beast like last year :( That sh*t was hilarious, albeit scary as hell for you two :rofl2:

Let's just say I was exhausted just from driving that through the dragon, and my wife was white knuckled looking at the trailer from the rear view mirror. She was freaking out, which wasn't helping the situation.(more distracting than anything) That tested our marriage real quick. But hey, made it in one piece. Only had one tire hanging off the ledge.

Fire 03-19-2012 09:28 AM

Anothert reason cars are meant to be driven not trailered, eh?

I can't even begin to imagine how taxing those miles were. Either way, look forward to seeing the Red Z34 in a few months :excited:
