I no longer trust you (also Jay and Dan) around my food and drinks, especially after everything I've heard about ZDayZ :wtf2:

I might try the root beer though...

umm you do realize oktoberfest beers are traditionally Marzen (a type of lager) style beers right? if you're not drinking a Marzen style beer during oktoberfest you are doing it wrong sir. not sure what you are talking about, so next time instead of just telling someone they're wrong provide a reason as to why you believe they are wrong. Its called being constructive and I might get to learn something...:tiphat:

I was just messing with you dude, I love the Marzen, and yes I know its the traditional Oktoberfest beer. However, GB's Festbier that they only serve during Oktoberfest is fantastic, so I encourage you to give it a shot if you've never had it.

I had Festbier at the GB in DC following the Caps game last Friday night. Tasted like sweet victory!

Festbier = Marzen

I don't like being told I'm wrong when it comes to beer :tup:

Festbier may be a "Marzen" style of beer. But its not the same as the "Marzen" that Gordon Biersch sells all year round. Different flavour, and better in my opinion.

:iagree:

Festbier is much better than Marzen (which is great itself).

The Marzen and Schwartzbier's are my fall-backs. The only 2 I enjoy MORE than those, are Festbier, and the Maibock.
