If it helps my wife works at a local crab restaurant. Some pretty good crabs for the price and size.

Al, when is the latest you can place an order? I'll make that the cutoff. People can still come but they miss out on any crab.

I can probably place the order within a week of the event, so let's shoot for maybe the preceding Wednesday? I mean, if we have 5 ppl, I'll just get a couple dozen. If we have 10-15 ppl, maybe a bushel.

I'm sure not everyone's going to eat crabs, since some folks don't care for them. Whatever is left over, I can always take it home with me. I live in a family of voracious crabby-vores. :tup:

Oh and by the way. Did some checking and a bushel of crabs is running around $200 for GOOD crabs.

Here are the feeding recommendations:

Recommended serving quantities are as follows: 1/2 bushels will feed 5 people and bushels will feed 10 people on the average. Warning: Some people can't help themselves and tend to make gluttons out of themselves. So if some of your guest fall into that category you may not want to consider "on the average."
