GTR Push Button
 

Probably nuking it here but having an issue removing my push button to replace it with a red GTR button. Looked at the guides but feel like Im doing it wrong and dont want to gouge my dash up any. Anyone near Hanover MD able to help me out?

Use the old method where you have to take the shifter stuff out.
It only takes like 3 min

Thanks man for suggesting it that way, at first I was worried about going that way since it looked harder but quite easy. Now Im confident to install the nav and backup cam mod

I bought some cheapo plastic tools (originally meant for removing stereo stuff) off Amazon, because I was worried about scratching my dash if I were to use a screw driver. The tools ended up being worthless, so I used a screwdriver anyways. I think I might have wrapped the end in tape just to be safe. As long as you're careful and go slow, you'll be alright. Just remember to pry near where the clips are (I can't remember where they are, but it says in one of the other threads).

Pry on far right side with a thin flathead.... Then work ur way around. Just put a rag behind it or something to not put a 1mm scar into the leather which will disappear after 2 weeks in the sun
