I dig the ThinkPad. I am on a Dell M4700 -- not bad as it is all solid state with 16 GB of RAM, but I miss my ThinkPad.

thank you for your concern today Doctor KenChan....

it was a f1 car...

I was showing the neighbor hood children how to drive under cars
as they went down our street. a older lady swerved and crushed my rc
car..

kenchan 11-10-2014 11:49 AM

my basement rc track's walls are made of double corrugated cardboard with recycled packing materials sandwiched between the rc track walls and basement wall so the impacts are absorbed. but even so, high speed will break parts.

but why drive a rc car slow. :ugh: it's like having a hobby car and just keeping it garaged all week and all winter. completely useless. :shakes head:

oh wait.. :ugh:

i hear the new dells are nice? im running an older thinkpad at work which is the model before the wonky big trackpad that moves when you click :ugh2: i use that at home. not real happy with that one but oh well. it was cheap.

My machine is not bad -- it is lightning-fast, but I am not a fan of the keyboard feel.

kenchan 11-10-2014 11:58 AM

my younger kid's really digging the rc truck im lending him. :D he wants to get one for himself to build and mod and stuff. i talked to his mom (my wife) about it and she was okay with it, as long as it fits his budget.

i told her, my repairs start at $5000/hr.

kenchan 11-10-2014 12:00 PM

This is the last time I wore a three-piece -- it was in January 1981 in Savannah, GA.

By the way, it was a Brooks Brothers...
