back strap! :yum:

and yes the head was dropped off at the Taxidermist couple days ago.

they don't actually " stuff" it they mount the cape and the Antlers exc on a premade Styrofoam head, the whole process takes anywhere from 5-7 months

yea that's standard for all mounts, the person picks a pose they want it to look and then the guy orders that pose from where ever he orders it from and then the process begins.

he charges $350. (the supplies to mount cost $100 ) so out of the whole process, he makes $250 . which is dirt cheap because most Taxidermist's charger between $700 to $1,500. or possibly more ( the bigger the animal is.... the more expensive the mount is)

the guy charges so little because this is just a side thing he does, he's an architect for his main job. so that's where his money comes from.

The Eyes on the all mounts are marbles.

The crank is under and the alt is over. :)

OEM Crank Pulley - 4lb 10.5oz
NST Under-drive Crank Pulley - 1lb 2oz

OEM Alternator Pulley - 6oz
NST Over-drive Alternator Pulley - 2oz

A wee bit of weight savings. :)
