I'm scared of what is happening to my Z right now. I left it at the dealership this morning with a full tank of gas :eek:

so i checked out with over 1400 spent on rc goodies this month. :D

over the winter i will get more hopups for it for kicks. im glad i get to share a lot of time together with my younger kid who luvs this stuff. older kid's into computers and games so my wife's been teaching him some IT language and stuff on photoshop, illustrator, etc.

so in summary there are 3 things that can break on the z:

csc
diff bushing
steering lock (pre-2012)

for me, looking at my 10yr old G which is basically using the same bits, no issue for csc and diff bushing.

steering lock might break, but i doubt it. it appears to fail when battery cca is a tad on the lower-end..and my battery is fully charged on the battery manager all the time.
i also have a spare in my trunk at all times.

but i think im going to look at the impreza hatch for her by next summer. cvt and fully loaded... as long as they are still made in japan. she wants a hatch, no suv.. awd is good cause then i wont have to swap to snows every year. one less thing to do for me.

the new fits are made in mexico, reading a bunch of non-sense issues with fit and finish.
nissan note is fine, but i think impreza-hatch is a better overall car for her.
