Oh come on. Surely you can squeeze in an hour somewhere. Chuy's is always just around the corner.

PS. I might have to redeem one of those oil changes in about 3 weeks or so.

Yes. I can. What's happened is I'm so busy, any free time I find myself wanting to do nothing but sleep or just veg on the couch. Or there is something that needs to be done around the house. I just need a reason to get moving :icon17:

Just give me a heads up so I can pick up the oil and filter

Of course you can bum along! I've been wanting to try Steiner Ranch Steakhouse so I'm down with that. Just let me know when you will be in the area. :hello:

Is Austin's Cars and Coffee the third Sunday of the month? I'd like to organize the cruise around that. I think I could get some of the Houston crowd up there for a weekend.

Second Sunday I believe.

I hate it when someone needs something at 5:20...usually prevents my leaving at 5:30 to beat traffic around this place. In the meantime it means I can post here...

Hi everybody-winding down for the day...did you all hear about the Takata recall?
Man. I would not want to pay that bill.

I found some neat roads to drive this past weekend that you guys may know about already.

Lohman Ford off of 1431 in Largo Vista is a really nice road. The road off of 1431 to my friend's house was great too. I don't remember the name, but there's a big sign to a winery there.

Also, found some neat connectors around The Oasis, but I'm sure you guys know about them. Did you know they serve a Sunday Brunch at Steiner Ranch? We passed by their around 11:30 am yesterday, and the lot was maybe 1/3 full so the parking is great. There was a guy playing music out on the back deck.

Caffeine much?! :rofl2:

Guess a new boot is in my future.

depending on the shape of your new knob, you can make a finisher that sits between the knob and the boot out of ballcockshank washer in the toilet section at homedepot. you'll need to spin it and trim it down to size.

rc buggy came in so cut the body to paint it. i brainfarted and cut a portion that wasn't suppose to be cut. :ugh:

of course i :crying: (not really), and then decided to make the piece out of scrap polycarbonate, bent it to shape using a heatgun, etc. perfect fit. :p

was still barely over 50F so painted it tonight outside. :excited:

kenchan 10-20-2014 07:38 PM

and i was driving rc truck#3 in the dusk with its led headlights on. when the truck approached me i was like a f-king deer in headlights. frikken bright i had to pause to think where the thing was going. :icon17:

madwi 10-20-2014 08:36 PM
