im not a typical customer... usual customers will obviously point at the IS for
the lexus badge and just image.

i want to make sure im okay paying double the price of the accords sedan MT.
i like the stying of both cars. its my dd so i dont really care about how much
performance it has as long as it's faster than my Fit..

the IS350 makes up its AT-only short coming with its power and rwd.
but the accordsedan makes up the normal-person-car-boringness
short coming with its MT option.

Is space an important factor for you? If so, you'll get more with the Honda.

you know wat, i didnt think of that but yah, i do carry 4+ me sometimes... like my wife sits between my
kids in the back seat plus a passenger in the front.

another reason why i was looking for a bigger car for carrying passengers.
but i dont want a suv or minivan. :barf:

Yeah, the IS has always had a pretty worthless back seat. Just something to consider

Honestly, for a family, my Lexus pick would be the GS350 AWD. I know you like Honda, have you considered Acura for a fancier option to the normal Accord?

hummm... i like the IS's styling over the GS. the reason behind the IS for
me is purely styling and features.

im not an acura fan... that new facia is super boring to me...they all look like
some TL or something which i never liked. :ugh: i suppose the old tsx could
be had with MT..but i like the accord better.

Agreed. Good luck!

If Honda would give me an Accord Sport with Leather and V6 (without the VCM garbage), it'd be a strong contender.

yah, if i could get a sedan V6 with MT that would definitely win my business. :D i dont care too much
about leather as it's a pita to take care, and my wife doesnt like sitting on leather too much cause it's hot in the
summer, cold in the winter.

The Accord is kind of a pig for that little 4-cylinder to pull around. I'd rather have the V6... But you can only get a V6 6MT in the coupe. :ugh2:

the MT can do 0-60 mid 6sec and stop from 60-0 in 117ft.
that's not bad for a family sedan imho...
