I paid 900 bucks for my Ibook after student discount. This thing has been through everything. I throw it around....hell I've dropped it 20+ times and its never even had a hiccup. It's an amazing machine in my eyes. It runs perfectly fine, but present technology is so much more advanced that I decided it was finally time for a change. I will never let go of the Ibook.....it still handles basic functions very well. I can't ever imagine getting rid of it. That laptop was a godsend for me at that price.

I can't say anything like that about my PC experience.

Ya man I know what you mean mine has been dropped at least 4 times once even right on the charger plug where it connects. They are build very well. I want to retire mine bit it just will not let me.

new mac book. I run photoshop/illustrator at the same time or I'll run final cut pro 2, soundtrack pro, and motion all at the same time.

My pc barely let me use photoshop....As for the Office stuff, I use open office. I just don't like their Power Point alternative, doesn't work the greatest.
