i completely agree with this. it is sad and kind of bitter sweet (like watching a movie) at the same time watching them convince themselves their lives are worth anything. :ugh:

i suppose they are good examples for my kids how NOT TO BE! like my dumbarse neighbor.. :icon17:

Mini GaleForce is bugging us to go to Disney daily. We're waiting until he's a little older.

You and Mrs. Gale are wise. The best age to start is around five or six. Go in the off season (non-summer) and don't turn it into the Bataan death march.

Lil' gurney started at four and NEVER sat in a stroller. When he was little, his favorite part was the hotel pool. Now, it's "drinking around EPCOT"!

When you do get ready to go, PM me and I (actually mrs. gurney) can help with accommodations and planning. Google DVC. We hold several contracts and can help you get a great deal.

Maybe we could even meet up down there one day!

kenchan 06-17-2014 07:48 PM

mr.gurney - wow you work for disneyland?

my kid has gone to tokyo disneyland. i told him that's the fake one. :icon17: haha

I/we appreciate your advice. I remembered that you and Mrs.Gurney are Disney experts and had full intention in seeking your help and advice, thank you for the offer. :tiphat:

It would be great to meet you and Mrs.Gurney anytime!

No sir, just have been going to Walt Disney World since 1971. Took the future mrs. gurney in 1981 and she was hooked. So much stuff to do without kids.

When we lived in Louisiana, it was a ten hour drive. Houston move makes it a 15 hour drive, but we still try to make it down there at least twice a year.

Having my Mom's side of the family down there helps too. My grandparents' house is two blocks off the beach in a small town south of Cocoa Beach called Indialantic. As a kid, I got to see numerous rocket and shuttle launches from their front yard including the Big One, Apollo 11.

No thanks. I want to just refinish all of them. The wife told me to find a spare wheel :icon17: Not much budget for it now but maybe in Aug/Sept.

Thanks for your condolences :tiphat: I just feel like a moron in the way that I view all those other morons on the road that aren't paying attention :shakes head:
