the DW sidewalls are stiffer but nowhere near Advans or S04's. i run DWS on my dd in the winter since they feel better than snow tires, but im not a fan of the DWS's steering response (or the lack of) either. i run RE760's on my dd. they are very good tires for normal cars.

the DW has soft sidewall too.
I had it on my Z for 2 seasons, it performance well on both dry and wet condition.
it's a very very nice tires for its price.

the DW has ultimate grip, but there is sort of this blank area especially when going through an s-curve where the vehicle weight shifts from left to right... i loose about 0.2-0.3sec of information feeding back to the steering wheel. :ugh:
that's kinda scary at first, but as long as you know that the grip is there after that fraction of a second, it's not a bad tire. upping the front psi by 2 or more vs the rear has improved getting rid of this blank feeling...but i know my other tires are much more superior as far as feedback goes and overall everything. :icon17: hahaha
the best part about the DW is its weight. 5lbs lighter than RE050, S04, 2-3lbs lighter than PSS and Advans.
